Well that's just great. I'm sure many Team PG & Team Underground members who opted for BioShock Infinite played neither GTA V nor The Last of Us.

I don't think a member should even vote if they haven't played all 3 major games that are contending for the title of GOTY.
A nice effort but utterly biased IMO.

The impact that the climax & ending of BioShock provided, was unmatched by any game released this year. Even after beating it, I was pondering over the "Infinite" possibilities the game hinted at. Even our own general discussion with the end game spoilers was literally buzzing with interpretations and theories. If that's not an indication of a game's quality, then I don't know what is

I don't see how someone who could play GTAV and TLoU could not play Bioshock Infinite. The game is multi-platform and doesn't require you to buy a console. It doesn't have outrageous PC requirements. I think we can rest assured that almost everyone who played GTA5/TLoU DID play Infinite.

Before we proceed, Full Disclosure ... I personally don't care about GOTY awards because this is as subjective as it can get. Which means i can name DOZENS of games for "MY" GOTY list. I love gaming and i place most of the underrated games highly.

So ... same question to you. "WHY" do you feel these awards are ... as you say, Shit?

Do I really have to explain? Bioshock beating out GTA V and TLOU? Biggest surprise being AC4 just because AC3 was bad? Best trailer to MGS V? Best co-op to Lego? I MEAN ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

I've played all the three GOTY contenders, and completely agree with the award.

I would have liked The Last Of Us to win but Bioshock Infinite winning is surprisingly good too. Second favourite game of the year.
