Overclocking 9600GSO! :P

Well AFQ cant OC to 4.0Ghz since thats higher than the 1800FSB that the 750i is rated for but I will try 3.4, but I am afraid of burning mobo again

yar dont be afraid, my mobo is rated for 1600FSB and it cant do 1600FSB ever.
so these ratings are just for publicity.
try OCing to atleast 3.8

guys I called a shop in Dossary today, they also have Thermaltake fans with red led :bdance: I asked them abt Zigmatek but he was thinking i am speaking some other language :lol:

well i took the memory to 950 and it is stable, on 1000 mhz, my pc got restarted 3 times while running 3d mark........

i am not sure but i know that Nforce chipsets are OC friendly.

u can try it.

ur Asus mobo burnt because of low quality components that were not enough to handle a quad but 750i SLI is a good mobo.

1800 FSB shouldn't be a problem for 750i provided your other components like ram, processor are capable enough for those high overclocked frequencies, But u should maintain good airflow in your case so that warm air does not get stuck in the case which can be deadly for specially your motherboard cause as far as i know xfx mobo get way too hot.

No it wont. Thats the beauty of the Nforce chipset. You can OC your FSB independent of RAMs.

Just put 'FSB - Memory Clock Mode' to unlinked. You'll now be able to OC your proc independently. I had my E44 running @ 3.0 (1200FSB) and the RAMs were running @ stock 800 on my 650i.

Actually net here is very slow so I cant download 3dmark06 quickly thats why waiting for that to finish, for now I'll have a go at CPU overclocking .

Aur whats this abt BM and OSes?

Just found out something

The voltage here is 110 so I cant OC my PC at this power, even when I run prime95 only 2 or 3 cores run becuase there isnt enough power. Now I need to get 220v connection
