Southampton still haven't responded to Liverpool's ultimatum after receiving an improved bid of 25m pounds. Liverpool will move on should they fail to respond by tomorrow.

Seems like it. They aren't even responding right now. Lallana should hand in a transfer request if he really wants to move.

Why doesn't Liverpool try to get fabregas instead?
Proven in europe plus plenty of experience. Lallana did well last season but he can't be compared to the likes of fabregas.

Lampard will join David Villa at the New York city club (the MLS soccer franchise owned by Manchester City) after both players were at City's Carrington training complex on Saturday to thrash out deals.

I hear they are bidding for him but Arsenal have the first option to buy him.

Give us a 45m bid and well tell the Gooners to f off
I guess you're right. In the end he'll go to the highest bidder.

Some newspapers claim Arsenal is not interested in signing him back. That leaves City, Chelsea and Liverpool to fight for him. Meanwhile, Spurs will not bid for Lallana. Take the money Southampton. You won't get a better offer. They are foolish to think we are desperate for him. We got other options lined up.

First willian to troll Spurs, then salah to troll liverpool but i doubt he would opt for any other club then arsenal provided they put a bid for him

I don't know what kind of targets LVG has given to Woodward , if cesc was on that list he could have been signed and I believe he would have preferred move to man utd over Chelsea

People aren't buying Cesc because he has injury after injury. Even in La Liga where the game is not as physical as the EPL.

In the EPL, he will probably spend half the time on the treatment table. And his form hasn't been great. And he hasn't kicked on as a player since his early days at Arsenal. I don't think his overall game has improved at all in Barcelona, and that is why he is being sold in the first place.

Barcelona really do not rate him otherwise they wouldn't be getting rid of him considering Xavi's career is now effectively over.

Nope rating Cesc is not the problem he is probably one of the best no 10 in the world but the problem is that we don't need a 10 in the system that we employ as that role is filled by Iniesta and Messi. So Cesc at Barca is between a rock and a hard place. He is not a CM so he can't be Xavi's heir and neither is he gonna replace either of Messi or Iniesta and thus Cesc finds himself without a position in the team. With a team built to play a 10 Cesc can be immense
