really mgssound track r in it.intro is reaaly interesting....war has changed...mgs4 intro

Various members from the popular video game forum NeoGAF have teamed up in an outstanding collaboration to recreate the classic NES game Contra within LittleBigPlanet. The iconic 2D shooter is revived in LBP thanks to the addition of the "Paintinator" in the Metal Gear Solid level pack. The massive project spans eight different levels, each painstakingly recreated in the LBP engine. Impressive, yes -- but we're wondering how long it will stay on the servers before the moderation team shuts it down for its obvious copyright infringement.

It'll be really sad if MM decide to take this off their servers just because of copyright infringement. Konami really ought to do something about this. Striking a deal with these neoGAF members would be a win-win situation for all. Anyways, here's a trailer of the LBP remake:

so guys, think its time to incorporate talk of the future psp version in here as well, since sony have said that the psp version will have all the features of the ps3 version, including level creation and they might even work simultaneously with each other .

Media Molecule Talks LittleBigPlanet 2

UK, July 8, 2009 - Media Molecule's Alex Evans has begun talk of LittleBigPlanet 2 – although it seems that any potential sequel is still some way off from an official reveal.

In an interview with gamesindustry.biz, Evans spoke of how the wealth of user generated content for LittleBigPlanet could be accessed in a sequel. When asked to confirm LittleBigPlanet 2, however, Evans was more coy. 'I'd love there to be a sequel, put it that way,' he said, 'But that's not an announcement - although I will say that the entire team is working on LBP.'

Media Molecule has previously been reticent to talk about a new game, instead putting their energies into supporting the original game. 'We're putting all the creative ambition of a sequel in,' Evans told IGN about Media Molecule's approach to downloadable content, 'but we might not end up calling it a sequel.'

Sony's Cambridge studios are currently working with Media Molecule to bring the game to the PSP, while the support for the original game continues apace with the latest download introducing Ghostbusters themed content to LittleBigPlanet.

yes they r still busy in making money with dlc's every 2 weeks on new psn updates.

[RUMOR] LBP GOTY Edition Coming?

July 10, 2009 - It's not uncommon for critically acclaimed titles to get Game of the Year editions these days, usually packing in downloadable content in a new retail disc to get newcomers up to speed immediately. MCV is reporting that Sony is going to jump on the bandwagon and release a GOTY edition of LittleBigPlanet later this year featuring a lot of the downloadable content currently available.

DLC for the game currently includes a ton of costumes, new objects for level creation and even some custom-built levels, including some carrying Metal Gear Solid and God of War themes. Putting all of this one on disc for PS3 owners who haven't yet invaded Sackboy's world certainly would be inviting.

We contacted Sony for a comment and were told "SCEA does not comment on rumor or speculation. We have no official announcements regarding a new LittleBigPlanet product."

If this is going to be real, I'm getting it for sure.

Little big planet disappointment

I feel like i just wasted 5300 rupees!!!! I had my doubts before purchasing it becuz im a tps and fps fan but i had heard from many people that that doesnt matter and that little big planet is a must buy for all age groups. But i cant help but feel that not even my 10 yr old brother will like this. Its too kiddish and i cant get into it at all.

Any1 else here who was sourly disappointed with lbp llike me?

LBP basically gets boring if u start playing it alone..........go online and play 4 player co-op..........ull love it........the back draw is that if u dont like Arts or Creativity.........ULL HATE LBP!!!!

LBP is only as good as your creativity....in other words, it takes a creative mind to understand the workings of the level creator as well as to appreciate the effort put in by others

Even if you don't want a go at any of the creativity, there's still quite a lot of fun to be had with the platformer....a fun and engaging single-player game as well as unlimited user-created levels (some of which are really good)....and then there's the 4-player coop thing

On the other hand, if you aren't into platformers, then LBP simply isn't the game for you

Can't imagine a PS3 without LBP. I don't know what was disappointing in LBP, i was a perfect game IMO and GOTY 08 along with MGS4.

Hey i agree the levels were beautiful. Thats the only reason i played the game for 3 days, but the gameplay didnt interest me at all. jump, hang on to something, press buttons- tooo kiddish. Making levels was a little fun but its tooo much khwaari!
