Just for Information :

I successfully fixed the famous (YLOD - Yellow Light of Death) error on my PS3 using the help and guides available on the internet. I was a somehow skeptical about whether this solution would work or not. I even managed to get a hot air heat gun for the purpose. Since I am already comfortable with electronics , opening and reaching to the PS3 motherboard was not much of a problem.

So starting off with the procedure, ended with a surprise that it really does work. The PS3 which was giving yellow/red light flashes and beeps is now working all OK, which was a good feeling to have. At the same time was also able to open and fix the optical drive (bluray drive) of PS3 which was not working correctly after loading a disc (as the disc was not properly settling on the lens assembly).

Anyways just wanted to share some of my adventures with PS3 till now.

Heading off to installing linux and making it a more enhanced media player by using VLC. Hopefully it should work as well.....

Thanks.

new models do heat up in the sence that exhaust hot air ..but no ylod ..again depends on many factors .i would recommend a good usb laptop cooler un der side the ps3 slim even ..why not -- alsi i have a pair of 2 - 80mm fans via 12 pin adaptor that i place at the back of the ps3 ... helps push even more air via the back of the console .

why not ...if u plan to play for long hours

The only valid thing from his pov he said in the video is AC dead since Black Flag. According to woke police that game was woke too. Welsh man in West Indies. So atleast he's consistent I guess lol

Nope. They have a very valid case. The above video explains it all.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
