Wow Chhowni
Sigh.
And i came to post the exact opposite thing (for Umar Akmal).
d00d! For a part-timer he's doing very well. And trust me when I say I've seen a fair share of Taufiq Umars' and Younis Khans' behind the wicket

I haven't seen Bhatti bowl yet. What's you guys opinion about him? A bowler in the mould of an Aizaz Cheema?

Unfortunately for Pakistan, that is true.
I just remember I told my dad he can't keep well and he couldn't even grab a simple deliveries behind the stumps (he misses far too many) and at the next delivery the same thing happened and that turned out to be the lucky stumping we saw today. Plus, hes a bit too enthusiastic behind the stumps to my liking and a terrible, absolutely terrible judge of calling a review.

For a guy his height he generates pretty amazing pace (usually above 140Km/h) and bounce consistently. I see great potential in him if nurtured and used properly.

Cheema isn't even in the same league as Bilawal. He's got excellent variations, good pace, slow bouncers, consistently bowls full yorkers (unlike coughJunaidcough). This guy's going places. I'm sure you'll like him. The best thing about him is that he leaves our selectors no reason to go back to Wahab Riaz.

On another note, I absolutely relished that six Steyn hit Ajmal. What a cracker of a slog that was.

And finally, Kallis. It's an absolute treat to watch this guy. Such an elegant stroke-player. Top class.

Its early to say about him. but i saw him reverse swinging the bowl and speed of about 144 and he bowled some briliant yorkers.
he batted realy well. these are briliant performances from a newcomer.

Actually the fastest bowl he bowled yesterday was 149kph which is amazing given his physique. And since he is also useful with the bat and is only 22, he is probably the most promising young player Pakistan has had in a long time. Just hope he fulfils his potential unlike 99% of the young 'talented' players we produce every so often.

Also for some reason his playing style and physique reminds me of Yasir Arafat when he first came on the scene (though I agree Yasir Arafat was no where close to him in terms of pace or talent).

Cheema actually wasn't half bad. He generated a lot of pace, bowled brilliant yorkers and varied his pace as well. The only factor that went against him was his age.

Cheema isn't even in the same league as Bilawal. He's got excellent variations, good pace, slow bouncers, consistently bowls full yorkers (unlike coughJunaidcough).
Watch this if you can get YT to work at your place. And here's an accompanying piece to go with it.

After the match Croft hailed Junaid, saying: “Junaid’s one of the best death bowlers I’ve ever seen.

“He’s only young cricket wise, but he’s one of the best around already. The yorker has become a little bit underestimated nowadays. As you saw in that last over, if you’re good at it, it can be impossible to hit. It was an awesome last over that he bowled.”
I saw Bilawal bat yesterday. And I didn't really like what I saw. Anwar Ali may prove to be a bowling all-rounder but Bilawal, at his very best, would be a mediocre Stuart Broad-like batsman.

Players like Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood.... our domestic circuit doesn't make guys like that anymore.

Trott returns home due to stress-related illness

Jonathan Trott, the England batsman, has left the Ashes tour with a stress-related illness that he has been coping with for some time and will not return for the remainder of the series following the visitors' 381-run defeat in the first Test at the Gabba. Trott departed Brisbane on Sunday night after falling for low scores to the short-pitched bowling of Mitchell Johnson in both innings of the match.

Ohhhhh boy! While I do feel sorry for him, I wonder why English players are most affected due to stress? Trott now adds to the list which consists of Trescothik and Yardy.

I remember Harmison used to have problems on away-tours on account of being homesick.

Gotta appreciate Hafeezs' persistence here. He has been bullied into submission by the Steyn train but doesn't shy away from facing him again and again.

I think Bilawal can actually be our very own Steyn, those consistent yorkers, that pace and the ability to bat too. Actually better than Anwar Ali.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
