Yes Hafeez is outstanding and ecnomical bowler either in one day or t20. But if the situation of the match is different in Last over so misbah has no choice and he have to go for Junaid Khan. As Pakistan won by 8 runs and Swann played 6 dots i think.
After what Hussey did to Ajmal, I doubt any Pakistani captain will ever toss the ball towards a spinner to bowl the last over
Junaid has a reputation of being pretty accurate at the death overs. He won Lancashire quite a few matches based on his ability to bowl yorkers.

I switched off the TV when 35 or 33 scores was needed on 30 balls i was sure that Pakistan will lose the match..but i m surprised kaise jeet gaye yaar...Peterson to junaid to aise dhota hai jaise junaid bacha hai..lst odi mein bhi us ko bht dhoya tha us ne...
Good to see most of the players contributing towards the win. Still the way Hafeez, Afridi and Umer got out was condemnable and put us on back foot after a promising start. Malik showed that experience does matter in tricky situations and hope he finds consistency also. Misbah is a much better player once he starts playing positive cricket.
Bowling at the death proved to be the difference specially with the accurate yorkers of pace bowlers and class of Ajmal. Hafeez and Afridi also made things difficult for the opposition. Peterson is in top form and the force to reckon with. Junaid ko maar parri but the way he bowled the last over shows the boy got guts and skill. Thats the two most significant assets of a PHAST bowler.

Shoaib Malik and Umer Akmal have NO place in the team. Pisses me off when these parchi players get so many chances. Akmal was scared to catch the spinners ball wtf?!?!
Granted, Malik was the highest scorer but his fielding was just embarrassing.
It was a lucky win for Pakistan with Gul taking some quick wickets otherwise we had surely lost the match.

Well we have seen better days from Malik in terms of batting, bowling and fielding. Pitty his place in the team has been a question mark for too long which really annoys the audience. I think its the last opportunity for him to prove his critics wrong.
It was lucky indeed but Gul, Ajmal have overturned the tables many times before. Afridi, Hafeez accompanying them is also not a co-incidence. HOPE IS STILL ALIVE!
