Great innings by Misbah, as always (and his SR was above 100 too ). Surprisingly, Hafeez performs as well. Atleast we can't lose the series anymore :wink2:

misbah has played really well after the rain he has taken the single almost at every ball

After the rain the pitch became flat according to misbah so on a home type situation they had the egde and they exploited it well. Kudos to Misbah for actually saving the team after so many tries.

Chasing 189 in 30 overs is a damn fine performance. I see no reason why we wouldn't have been able to chase the original target.
The pitch was flat. Good performance by Misbah regardless . Umar Akmal seems to be improving every day.

Making 120 runs in 14 overs is steep. D/L really didn't make too much of a difference imo.

You are forgetting the fact pakistan good at self destruction the more the score the more the wickets the will loose
What i have been noticing from many series the top orders fails and misbah tries to hold one end and on the other hand wicket keeps on falling from other end and goes in shell and in the end when they start to fire in end overs misbah looses the wicket and looses the plot and same rant start about defensive approach at chasing the score

Although misbah batted exceptionally well today i have seen other teams playing their natural game they dont goes into shell even if they looses their early wickets i wish we have someone like sangakara, ab devilliers

Ahmed shehzad and jamshed is being defensive dunno if misbah provided the script or what on this batting track both the openers could have displayed better cricket
Maybe the pressure of not performing in previous games made them to go defensive

40 runs from 90 balls is unacceptable in ODIs regardless of the situation. Misbah must play like he did yesterday. I fail to understand why he gets so defensive when he CAN bat aggressively without getting reckless.

After promising starts to their respective careers, Shehzad, Jamshed and Shafiq have only been going downhill under Misbah's leadership. A captain's mindset rubs off on the team you know.
I would ask for his ODI captaincy resignation regardless of his performance or the result of this series. We should've beaten this WI side to submission.

If misbah fails, he rarely play full 50 overs.

I also feel for Australian Cricket. Just 2 good players in top 7 i.e Watson and Clarke and also look at their bowling. No one good enough.
Their domination is well and trully over in ALL formats.

Pakistan did a wise job playing fast in the start. They were pretty ahead WI in first 10 overs and this thing helped them in case the match is further shortened. Misbah Ul Haq again played a very supporting innings. I was pretty amazed to see his name ranked first in the most runs scored this year. Well next match is series decider and I hope PK take it also.
P.S: Someone please feed some sense in Wahab Riaz

Simon Katich had some issues in the past, they don't see each other eye to eye mate
& agree with you on that S. Katich should be brought back regardless of his current age & also Phil Jaques as well.
