Oh just spotted this thread :)
So fiction counts too right?

I've read (almost) all of Sheldon's novels (all except bloodline). Found them VERY nice and interesting at the time (2-3 years ago).

Read two of Grisham's novels. Both were nice. Especially The Street Lawyer.

Read one of Christie's MANY books :)

And a whole lot more. Will mention them some other time.

Has any one read 1947
Actually the movie is based on the book is called 1947, starring Amir Khan. The book is called Ice-Candy Man by Bapsi Sidwa. It is a pretty decent book. Shows as through the eyes of a Parsi girl the violence striken days of partition. Another of her book is The City of Lights. A book containing various articles on Lahore. Pretty good read.

NO WAY! Those are two books I've read of him too! XD Thinner is rubbish, really. I forced myself to finish it, but even then I skipped a lot of pages because I couldn't stand the ridiculous storyline. The Green Mile is a MASTERPIECE though, period.

WHEN did you finish HP7?
a
I bought the book on the day it was released. Completed it in two days. Slow reader, I know.

I haven't posted here in a while, have I? Oh well.

The Valkyries
My first Paulo Coelho book! *tear* At first I thought it was absolute garbage, but I treaded on through since it was pretty short and I hate to leave things hanging in the air. By the end I was a total fan and was quite touched by the story. It's an autobiography told in third-person with artistic exaggerations here and there, but it was really fun to read, you know? More fun to know that it all happened in real life, hihi.

So yes, recommended.
