Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso

"You're you. "To be like you..." - it's not so ambiguous as that. No matter what you do, no matter how you change, it doesn't mean a thing. you're just you, no matter what."
Kaori Miyazono

I'll never forget this. Definitely one of the freaking best thing to arrive in a few years. Great music, emotional roller-coaster, likeable - hell loveable character. The anime was so great I can't begin to express it in words. This was a real gem, a beautiful one at that. This thing is defintely on par or hell better than Code Geass. Anime's like Code Geass have action and other good things where they can shine, and no wonder they are popular with the world. But Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso does not have that going for it, and it still shines. It is, for me the best drama, romance and school anime ever. It set the benchmark pretty damn high.

I looked at the manga after the anime, and love it even more. It surpassed the source material. The creators did a great job adding color and beautiful sound, which made it stand out. The ending was pretty great as well. After finishing the anime, I kinda vividly smiled after looking at its title. The author came up with a great name

P.S The OST is just bloody awesome. Infinte thumbs up to this.

Duuuuuuuuuude! I don't know whether to thank you or to curse you for introducing me to this... It made me feel things...

I started it yesterday and I just finished it. You were TOTALLY right, it's an emotional roller-coaster, the characters are so easy to relate to, I LOVE the music and the art style. Definitely among my top favorite anime, above Code Geass even. Anyone reading this, do yourself a favor, go and download this RIGHT now (in HD) and watch it if you haven't already. Watch it with speakers and with the volume turned up.

But I don't know if you'll be able to give it the attention that this masterpiece deserves, if you'll be worrying about your upcoming tests :p

Hahaha, I told you man this is the shit :p
This was just epic as hell. Another highlight feature I forgot to mention was how great character interaction was and how little BS there was. Usually you find some utter other world bullshit in scenarios but Shigatsu was kimi no uso did it wonderfully and realistically. I especially liked Takeshi's character. Even with little screentime, he shined.

True, it was very believable. I felt so weird afterwards when it was finished. Kept thinking about it for hours afterwards. Planning on rewatching it soon :D

I REALLY liked Kaori, but I liked Tsubaki a lot too, because of how supportive she was.

Yeah, the title is a nice throwback as well. The author chose a fitting title. (y)

So how do you guys figure out which group subbed which anime? MAL used to show that for anime but I think they removed it. Is there any other way?

Welp, done with Hellblade 2. Thoroughly disappointed. Such a nothing burger after the unique experience of the first game.

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

  • L LegacyGamerGuy:
Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

It is indeed the worst generation by far.

Both PS and Xbox have been a flop this gen as they can barely maintain 30 fps in a lot of AAA games th.

As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
