Hey Guys,
Just bought a new 5800 XM from United (Seal Packed) last week from Sadar, Singapore Plaza (RWP). I've been using the phone for almost 5 days. But yesterday all of a sudden it started saying "Instert Sim" and the phone would just lock off until I restarted it, and then again after 30 mins would say "Insert Sim" (Sim was inside the whole time). I took out the sim then cleaned it even and reinserted it and then same problem happened again.
Same thing went on for the entire day and I haven't had the problems for almost 36hrs now.
I'm using Ufone, so my question is that, is this a problem with my phone or the sim card?
Since my warranty hasn't even started yet (will start on 15th next month), if I go and cliam my warranty will they give me a new phone?
Also had minor problems like, battery dipping down from full to low in a matter of 10 seconds. etc. but that only happened once.
Looking forward to advice on this regarding the problem, wouldn't want to see 27k go to waste.
