yeah check this out (Especially DMC4 Abuses will lead to banes), lots of stuff added to the original NG2 which was awesome in it self, co-op plus ayane playable :O, there is another babe too which i don't seem to recognize :/, check out the special effects they have added in this version, one word AWESOME!!!.

anyway, the trailer was pretty impressive. and i see ayane brought some moves over from the doa series; that swirly twirly leg kick thingy!

i'll definitely buy this game, progress a little until i get to the ultra-hard missions, break a controller or two and then keep it in my collection

Sigma's difficulty is quite dumbed down...play the original ones,you'll start crying like a wimp.

Actually Sigma has all the difficulties of the original one, it just had the easiest one unlocked from start.
I made this thread in this section because it will be properly unveiled on E3, move it to the proper section please.

I think Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will only be on PS3? Or is it coming to 360 too? I suppose not.

BTW, is the blood considerably toned down or something?

The blood has been replaced(though there is an OK amount there still) by this cool special effects, in NG 2 there was too much of blood & no special effects, overall this is a totally refreshing look than NG 2.

I donno, it seems that Ninja Gaiden takes itself more seriously than it should. Not talking just about the gameplay, but DMC is cooler

And those blue effects instead of the blood - they look childish. I need blood to flow and limbs to fall when a Katana pierces through flesh.

Well there certainly is no blood in DMC though, the blue thing is there because those are fiends,the blood comes out of ninjas & werewolfs/lycanthropes, i like this look as i said it is more refreshing than the same old stuff in NG 2.(limb flying factor is exactly the same as NG 2 if not improved) DMC is all about flashy cutscenes & cheesy dialogues, this game has it all, it's t3h awesomness.

I think there was alot of blood in Ninja Gaiden 2 (x360) chopping of limbs and head etc. Anyway Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 looks promising and we use two new female characters which is pretty amazing and i hope the difficulty level is not toned down and camera angle is certainly fix aswell because it was pretty awful in the last title. Ninja Gaiden series does have a worst story.

Both of the games are different, Ninja Gaiden is defensive action whereas DMC is more about stylish action game inflicting and enjoying the whooping enemies ass more blend towards offensive and there are some aspects of gameplay of NG which are better than DMC though and difficulty level of NG is more intense. DMC has much better story, character development and cutscenes and Ninja Gaiden sucks in that department IMO.
Anyhoo i enjoy both of the series.

i think NG has better weapons & upgrading them gives you super cool moves too, so IMO it pwns DMC in that regard as well, NG 2 was not defensive btw its focus was offensive, the blood & all is more of Hayashi's style compared to Itagaki "who loves bloooooooooood".

Thats why i didn't enjoy DMC4 that much, NG2 is certainly better and yeah the weapons are pretty cool with pretty amazing combos espically in midair, but DMC series also have an edge because with each title the devs bring something new in the game like since DMC1 the combat system was pretty simple and linear ( even though it was epic at its time) and DMC3 gives you different STYLES trickster, swordmaster royalguard and gunslinger which gives you chunk load of combos and punish your enemies and DMC4 brought a new character and introduce DEVIL BRINGER which was something new and not forgetting the OTF-switching styles of Dante on D-pad.

Meet the limb flying, ultra gore based executions in NG 2 , there is no particular difference in DMC 3 & 4's combat apart from the introduction of new charater NERO, we have 2 new charaters here plus co-op & those amazing ninpos.

and btw, the blood is a little toned down; but you can dismember body parts! that's just way cooler.
