Had quite a few more but my HDD gave up on me and they weren't uploaded on flickr either.

The lens is fine if you are capturing stills but for moving objects its a pain without autofocus

Those looks pretty fine without Low pass filter i guess there will be bit more Sharpness and lil post can do great with it but yeah with moving object it will be hard to do the job so i will go with AFS i saw ur post you had no idea at the time you purchased it thats why i tagged you to get the info about it

Yeah this is exactly the reason i am going with servo
i have D3300 it also without AA (W/O LOW PASS FILTER) :) with new EXSPEED 4
D5300 have same processor, it produces nice images even in higher ISO. my opinion would be to go with 55-200 as they always say: Always invest in good glass

Sigma 70-300 DG macro has no VR which is very important for hand held shots for telephoto. and the performance of DG macro and DG APO pass 200mm are very low. if you check online ppl dont even consider them a real 300mm.
so far the best budget lens is 55-200mm VR Nikkor, it depends on your work what focal length you need,70-300 Nikkor Vr performs very good, but in performance it is virtually the same as 55-200VR,but expensive.

for details you can check DXoMark, thy have these lenses you can select your camera body and check the sharpness level on different focal lengths, and f stops.

if you are looking for good telephoto I will say check Nikon 1 series. for DX body good telephotos are very expensive.

Get a 55-200. Or if you have a slightly better budget, a 55-300
Thanks for the help ! :)
