[NBA] Upgrade from Galaxy GT-i9003 SL - Can only spend 3-5k above

Salam,
i have Samsung Galaxy SL GT i9003, its cool smooth n flawless phone with me since Ramadan. but now i want to change n try some other phone, (e.g HTC, SONY Ericson, ) whos specifications shud be same as my SGSL or offcourse better... i have my mind for HTC DESIRE HD.
so plz Experienced bros suggest me a better or the best buy... i can pay 3-5k over this phone... !

That depends on condition of the set..if it is worn out an roughly used u may even get it for 2k-5k difference..

No alhamdulillah my phone is scratchless.. front screen protector is still on. and back cover protector removed before 2 months.. and it is always in soft rubber cover.. almost 9 or 9.5/ 10 with complete accessories..

You will be able to sell the Galaxy S for 22k, at the most, at the very most, 24k.
And do you only want Android?
Have you looked into iOS and Windows Phone?

With your budget, it is difficult to get a decent Android device. However, there will be some good iOS and Windows Phone devices availabe

You can get the Neo V. 23-24k.

You'll be lucky if you manage to get more than that.

You can get yourself a Xperia Neo V, which costs about 25k Brand New. Consumer Reivews about the handset and positive, AND it'll be comparatively better than your current i9003 SL.

But in my opinion, if you are looking for an 'upgrade' ... go towards Dual Core phones, for which you'll have to spend more. Pricing for Dual Core phones start from 33-35k (in used).

How is neo V an "upgrade"?? It has smaller worse display and low internal memory compared to SL. Yes the chipset is faster but thats not all that matters.

The best you can get by selling your SL and adding up 3-5k is nexus S. Trust me I had a galaxy SL and I moved to xperia play and I could never really stop missing the SuperClear-LCD of the SL, it is hands down among the finest LCD screens and you may not want to move to a phone with a worse display. Only LG phones can compete with the LCD of SL.

With nexus S you will get a significantly faster chipset, LED flash and a much much superior official and third party dev support. The only downgrade you will get is VGA video recording.

HTC sensation is a very good phone as well but it will be out of your budget for sure and the display is quite inferior.

Yes it's inferior. It has bad viewing angles, worse contrast, slower response time and highly reflective screen. Sensation has slightly higher PPI but that really doesnt make a big difference. The only noticeable advantage of sensation display will be that it's bigger.

Nexus S has same LCD as that of SL.

Now as for resale the prices of phones decrease rapidly there is nothing you can do about it. And "ap log" kon hain?? This community isnt one combined seller everyone is different agar aapna kissi sai ziada paisa main lia hai SL so only you are to blame for that. Selling phones is business and everyone will try to get as much money as possible.

You can even make a thread here asking if the price of a seond hand set is reasonable or not and people will give you good advice.

Lekin ye log aap ko SGS II mehnga bechen gay k ye sb se acha mobile ha. Phir jb aap becho gay to ye log kahen gay k ab to quad core mobile ka dor ha, SGS II ki to koi zyada value nahi rahi
