BTW is the Cavier Black worth the extra money paid for compared to Barracuda 7200.12? I've heard mixed things about 7200.12.
@LeGenD123 this man can give a proper answer to this.

@sohaib50k. I was referring to the older models of SG Barracuda (7.2k RPM HDD). They were more reliable than the new 7200.10, 7200.11 and 7200.12 RPM.

Which old models? the maxtor ones?.
And galaxy has the 3gb/s seagate 7200.12,and 6gb/s caviar black.
The black avg read speed=105,accestime=12.5
The seagate avg read speed=98 accestime=14.5.

Hey guys, I'm getting restless here. Can't wait for Ivy Processors to hit. So I've planned to get the following along with a C2D processor from the PG market for the time-being until Ivy processors hit. So guys will it create any bottleneck, compatibility issues or things like that?

AsRock Z77 Ext4,
G.Skill RipJaws X 8gb (2x4gb),
Cooler Master Storm Enforcer,
CM Silent Pro 600W (Modular),
Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200.12,
Dvd-RW,

Will save and buy a good GPU later ofcourse.

So anything that I should be keeping in mind? Your input is greatly appreciated guys.

You can't use a C2D processor with 1155 socket (z68/z77) :|

G.Skill value rams are better as in they cheaper + carry lifetime warranty, Kingstons only have 1 year.

Yup that's what I intend to do once Ivy processors hit. But should I go for i3-2100 rather than g620 for the time-being?

Plus if I manage do get a 560Ti before an Ivy processor will the i3 bottleneck the GPU or will it work just fine?

the i3 2100 is obviously a better performer, it has HT(shows 4 cores in windows) & a higher clock, but one may speculate that the cheapest will get the least price hit when new stuff is introduced.
& i think the i3 may bottleneck a 560ti, but it will atleast not cripple the gpu to a halt(u wont get the best performance out of ur card, but do expect it to perform reasonably well, esp on full HD & higher resolution)

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
