So guys here's the deal- I will use this PC mainly Photoshop and 3d drafting in AutoCAD. And ofcourse Mid-to-high level gaming too.

I have always used branded PCs and am a complete noob in this regard.

Would be really great if I can squeeze in a LCD/LED in this budget but no problem if I can't.

I tried to squeeze in a GPU in this rig but decided not to. Will save and buy a good GPU when my semester finishes in June. But all suggestions are welcome.

I will get this PC next month. The budget is not dead final. I can spend but only a little more.

Here's what I have come up with:

Core i5 2500k - 20k
AsRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 - 12k [Extreme3 Gen3 are outa stock at IMX].
G.Skill RipJaws X 8Gb (2x4gb) - 5.7k.
Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200rpm - 10.3k
Cooler Master Silent Pro 600W (Modular) - 8.4k
CM Storm Enforcer - 8.2k

Total: 64600.

Core i5 2500k - 20k
AsRock Z77- wait a day for the price
G.Skill RipJaws X 8Gb (2x4gb) - 5.7k.
Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200rpm - 10.3k
Xigmatek NRP-602 600watts is enough.. 6.2K
CM 690 II is better..

Total: 64600

for a photoshop pc you need..

1. a fast processor

3. lots of ram (I would recommend 16 gb)

3. 4 hard drives...one for os, one for application, one for output to act as scratch disk (used by adobe as virtual memory). It will create bottlenecks if you run everything on one disk.

Keeping your budget in mind you can have 2 hard disks... one for windows and applications and the other for storage and scratch disk.

You need to look at your budget to prioritize accordingly (especially reconsider the expensive gaming casing and try to go for a second hard disk).

Core i5 2500k - 20k
AsRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 - 12k [Wait for Z77].
G.Skill RipJaws X 8Gb (2x4gb) X2 - 11.4k.
Seagate 500GB Barracuda 7200rpm - 13K
Xigmatek NRP-602 when it comes in stock soon that is 6200
Bitfenix Shinobi 5400

Total: Rs.68000.

As you are on a tight budget plus I ignored the photoshop line Ill reconsider my suggestion. Do consider you are on a tight budget if you mainly work on photoshop.

If you are not buying a highend card such as 560Ti or above I recommend Xigmatek NRP-502 to reduce cost. Which is enough to run 560Ti aswell... but not above...

See my PC Specs. I use photoshop on dialy basis aswell as adobe after effects and premiere pro. Using 8GB atm and still its enough.. will add another 8Gb when I get my motherboard but for now its doing a fine job in photoshop.

No No... I not a graphics designer or anything. Its just my hobby, sometimes I just casually open Photoshop and do some work. So neglect that Photoshop part.

I'm sorry I should've told that earlier.

Then why are you going for RipJaws? Value RAM works fine. I do graphic designing as a hobby and believe me, my system is be more than enough (with exception of 2 more gigas of RAM). What I say is, go for a Graphic Card and cut your HDD to .5TB, works just fine. You can buy another one when it is filled, until then prices will drop.
To sum it up
Core i5 2500k - 20k
AsRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 - 12k
Kingston Value RAM - 2.1k
Seagate 0.5TB Barracuda 7200rpm - 7.8k
Xigmatek NRP-602 - 6.2k
CM 690 II - 8.8k
Nvidia GTX 560Ti - 24.5k (you can buy it later)
Total: 81.4k including GPU otherwise 56.9k

I agree with the value ram recommendation. Gskill modules just look cool. They aren't actually good for anything. You don't need expensive ram to overclock sandy bridge systems so value ram is fine.

Also you'd better go with a cheaper casing like casecom cases if you want to free up money for a GPU. You won't be able to game without a GPU.

If you are not buying a highend card such as 560Ti
Fun fact: GTX 560 Ti is NOT a high-end graphics card. :p

sTraNg3r. Everything looks good.

I also suggest Value RAMs, save cash and spend on something else. Perhaps on a better HDD like WD Caviar Black and such.

By the way, that power supply is good one, even if you plan to get a GTX 580/680 (HIGH-END GPU, LADIES! :p).

Ahhh I meant mid-high end :p.... anyways spending more money on WD Caviar Black is just useless in my opinion it doesnt have much advatange over normal HDDs.

So if I cut that HDD and Ram to some lower ones I can save 6-7k. It will be a great help since I will save and buy 560Ti. For that purpose I think I should keep the PSU as it is. What do you guys suggest?

Yup, that's more like it. Considering the HDD prices will go down next year, so it's a good move I reckon.

Wrong. It does matter when you don't have an SSD, otherwise even a Caviar Green will get the job done.

Well I wont argue with that because my experience with WD black caviar 500GB was the worst :p

Why compared two extreme ends "Black and Green" when Caviar Blue exists which should be targeted
Not Overpriced like Black and is not "Slow" like Green

Seagate 7200.12 however as per HDD Tune Benchmark is the Fastest of the lot

Thanks for the input guys. I've decided to wait for Ivy Bridge processors and Mobos. Hopefully the processors will be available as soon as they are launched b/w 23rd and 28th. Then I'll alter the specs but hopefully roughly in the same budget or 5k more.

Your personal experience with the MSI motherboard(s) wasn't great either. :p

By the way, Seagate Barracuda (7.2k RPM) is on par with the WD Caviar Blue. Newer Barracuda may be a 7200.12 RPM hard disk drive but the spin-fail-ratio is on the higher side, "banned" PG member AbbY has also suffered from this.

Nah man, blues tend to be slower 80-90mb/s read while 7200.12 has a 90-100 read AVG. although i personally suffered a loss of a seagate hdd so their failure is a bit high then western digital.
