SOURCEYou know Nathan Fillion, right? He played the lead role of Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds in the short-lived cult hit TV series Firefly, and currently stars as the main protagonist Richard Castle in ABC's police drama-comedy Castle. Just in case you don't, he's a pretty great actor and has a fairly large fan base. Oh, and he wants to play Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted film adaptation.
So much so, in fact, that he's asking for your help to get the role. On his Twitter account, which has 650,000 followers, he recently posted “If ever there was a Twitter campaign, let this be it. Rise, ye Browncoats. Rise, ye Castillions. RISE!”
According to earlier reports, director David O. Russell is back on board to direct the film, and it's said to be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. No release date, or even window is set yet, but if all goes well it could enter production sometime fairly soon. So why not help good ol' Nathan Fillion be part of that production? You know you want to.
