Playstation Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake | He needs YOUR help!

You know Nathan Fillion, right? He played the lead role of Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds in the short-lived cult hit TV series Firefly, and currently stars as the main protagonist Richard Castle in ABC's police drama-comedy Castle. Just in case you don't, he's a pretty great actor and has a fairly large fan base. Oh, and he wants to play Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted film adaptation.

So much so, in fact, that he's asking for your help to get the role. On his Twitter account, which has 650,000 followers, he recently posted “If ever there was a Twitter campaign, let this be it. Rise, ye Browncoats. Rise, ye Castillions. RISE!”

According to earlier reports, director David O. Russell is back on board to direct the film, and it's said to be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. No release date, or even window is set yet, but if all goes well it could enter production sometime fairly soon. So why not help good ol' Nathan Fillion be part of that production? You know you want to.

Fillion bears more of a resemblance to Drake than North does... But I guess you are right, we should be seeing Nolan North as Nathan Drake. I'm surprised the production team didn't even consider him...

No, it was Matt Mullins who did the jumps, shooting and climbing ladders n stuff for drake originally. Some of you already know him as Johnny cage from the viral mortal kombat video.

Yeah, he'd fit his character perfectly. Only, Drake isn't a tough guy. He's more of a guy who says witty one-liners and manages out of a tight situation alive. He's one of the greatest video-game character ever!

Fillion's got flair, he's got panache. He's the perfect man for the role. That's not the problem though, the problem is if this is going to be a big Hollywood picture along the lines of the recent Prince of Persia( I'm talking budget here) there's no chance they're going to use him, he's just not a big-level player

Nathan Drake looks kinda younger than Nathan Fillion. The resemblance is fine but in the end, just like Prince of Persia, Hollywood butchers will cast Dwayne Johnson as Drake.
