It sure is but the good thing is you don't need to touch Windows Store for Game Pass. You get it from this new XBOX app.

Windows Store was a mistake, glad there's a replacement app for it.

I legit bought Gears 4 last year and played it, but it doesn't let me re-download now if I try ..

How? I have 7 dollars in my account. I'm trying to purchase the $1 ultimate gamepass deal, but i think it is blocking me due to my region. It's set as US, but i think it detects I'm in Pakistan. Anyone had luck with it?

I've read somewhere that you're still required to enter a valid credit card as a backup payment method when subscribing to Game Pass using store credit.

How? I have 7 dollars in my account. I'm trying to purchase the $1 ultimate gamepass deal, but i think it is blocking me due to my region. It's set as US, but i think it detects I'm in Pakistan. Anyone had luck with it?

The Game Pass Ultimate deal was phenomenal but very complicated for us in Pakistan. Was up till 3 am last night stacking up the Xbox Live membership for the maximum capacity of 3 years (36-months) and then as the $1 deal suggested upgrade whatever existing subscription you have to Gamepass Ultimate. So yeah a combination of VPN, trial & error, credit card addition and other experiments i managed to get a $540 worth of 36 months of Ultimate Game Pass for $45+$50+$55 + $1.

Well worth the effort as the deal expired just minutes ago

i got both my accounts at gaming zone an year of gamepass and gold some cards i had left over and than asked xbox support to purchase the 1$ for me via xbox chat its that easy. they already know what we want the chat representative asked me herself that if i allow her to purchase the ultimate game pass on my behalf and i said soniyo, je zaroor and voila ! purchased 1$ ultimate game pass and converted my 1 yr game pass and gold to ultimate on two different acccounts. this can be done for upto 3 yrs man ! ALA OFFER hay and works for pc too

It wasn't that man, you have it all wrong. I never ask for you to link your CC to my email....cause that's ridiculous. I asked if you were buying game pass and are willing to share (like steam family share) with my PC. You denied and that's fine, but didn't stop there, had to make fun of me too. It wasn't about that 1$ (it's only a fucking dollar, you said) it was because I had no means to buy it from Pakistan then. That was the last straw, and I knew I had to get unfriend myself from you and I didn't wanted to argue any further.

I sold your leftovers keys many times out of my time and Goodwill and never kept a cent of profit.... always happily gave it directly to you..why you ask? Because I believed we were friends..I was very wrong obviously, I just realized it way too late...I gave my heavy rocket league inventory to you because you liked it, on spot. I was more than happy to do it. I always shared my steam library too..
