I don't have FH4 on PC. Gave up on the Windows store after the horrible experience I had with FH3 and game downloads. Will get the next FH if it comes to Steam.
What multiplayer games do you play on Steam?
I experienced the same download reset issue just a year ago and I'm happy to tell you that it's been fixed finally. Just download your windows store games through the new Xbox app no need to touch that crappy appstore

Windows just updated to 1903 so I download the new app. I can't find Forza Horizon 3 which I do own on Windows Store. What's up with that? lol

For some reason FH3 doesn't show on Xbox app but FH4 does, so you have to rely on windows store for this one...
Search the game on windows store and click install/download. Once it starts to download then it will appear in the xbox app. Then you dont have to use Windows store ever again....the Xbox app wil even handle updates. Just do make sure you update the Xbox app once in a while and other Xbox related services like overlay thingy from the store..
Updating to 1903 actually solved a big issue for me, for almost the last year and a half I wasn't able to download my legit bought copy of Gears 4 from the Windows store. But now I am able to do that again.

Replaying the first Gears and the remaster has received massive upgrades.
Performance could be much better though. Nowhere near as flawless as Gears 4.
I replayed Gears 4 after the May update fixed the broken Windows Store for me, that game holds up remarkably well and is so well optimized even my paltry gaming PC can run it at 1440p/60 with everything on High. I have the in-game dynamic resolution scaler enabled but if it scales at all, the difference is so non-existent I didn't notice any obvious signs of lowered resolution.

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
