What would you do if you're with a girl at such a place and a mob of 40 aunties approach you.. Was it right what she did? :/

assuming from your Avatar you should be more careful, you may turn out to be a next victim of maha khan and the 40 aunties :p

On a serious note what she did was wrong the intent was to get ratings high, as we all know what biased media is capable of.

still we should abide by Islamic principles avoid such practice.

Karachi.
She is such a hypocrite. See her pictures with her friends on YouTube, they were far worse than just hanging around in a park holding hands. She was practically semi naked in those pictures. One word describes her: Abuses will lead to ban.

Keeping Maya Khan's private life aside, i think what she was doing on the TV was transparent. What i have seen on TV was that she was invading couple's space in "public parks" not behind the doors. Her point about the whole episode was that parents do not have to blindly trust on their kids these days which is a dilemma in our society.

During all the action i saw few couples saving their back by running away from the camera and Maya Khan team didn't force them into questions. The program crew also didn't disclose the complete identity of the people interviewed. Now coming to the point whether she should have done it or not, everyone will have a different opinion due to the sensitivity of such issues in a Muslim society. I think her openly apologizing twice in front of the whole Sama TV audience was a good enough gesture for the people despising her as a TV show host.

Absolute BS.
Did you bother watching how she apologized? If not, then please do so.
'AGAR meri wajaah se kisi waaldain ka dil dukha ho to mein tahay dil se maazrat khwaah hoon'. WTH! You should really pay attention to the tone of the woman, i dont buy that crap!

They would have if the aunties could run fast enough.

Keeping Maya Khan's private life aside
What about keeping away from the private lives of the people she raided on? We can question her and her team for going in public parks without Hijaab. Will you defend her on that too, saying that it's "her private life"? Of course you will, and you won't be doing anything wrong.

Similarly, just sitting in a public place with or without someone does not make me liable to answer to anyone. My life is still private.

"gameon: keeping Maya Khan's private life aside"

By referring to her private life i was talking about what she is doing off the screen because after the release of some of her partly nude pictures, people have started criticising the whole program and her intentions on the basis of what she is doing at home. About Hijab, i think i won't question her as far as she is adhering to the generally acceptable dress code in the public arena.

Similarly, just sitting in a public place with or without someone does not make me liable to answer to anyone. My life is still private.
I agree with that because everyone needs space even in parks etc.. Being a bachelor myself i know how absurd one would feel if one finds himself in a similar situation. Still the media thing to work requires intrusion in people's lives who may be an ordinary person or a celebrity and upto what degree is the matter to be resolved in this case. Well she paid for it in the end.

Ashhad, are you sure the girl would have been on a safe side? :p
It's okay for the guys, but for girls, it's a big thing, their respect is the only thing they have, once it's gone, everything is gone.

on a serious note we have a liberal minority in this country and they should have a say on how they run their own private lives,

as long as no law is broken and there is no criminal intent then we should live and let live, and not try to impose our own personal views (religious or otherwise) on other people
where there private lives are concerned

I don't think it is wrong sitting at a park with a girl and having a good time.. Not like they were having se* there. Our Pakistani media, is the root to all the problems!

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
