Okay so there is no one company that gets you a perfect phone... i was thinking about it and i am generally satisfied with the POWER of the phone nowadays e.g the octa core chip is damn mega jega gega powerful and will fullfill all your requirements for more than 2 years(no doubt about that)... so what is missing?? what do you guys want in the best phone?? htc one has a good built but its front is obnoxious to me... s4's soap bar style and thin plastic is pretty useless(kinda feeling you get when you drink a glass of soap water??).. nokia lacks specs... apple is too damn small TBH... now there are solutions here and i want to give it to you guys for a perfect build... according to me atleast(as people would like ips or super lcd etc over my preference of amoled so that is why everyone make their own build)...

1. Looks:-

i want a rectangular look and 6" size(sorry for people who want less but i have a suggestion)... there are people who want smaller phone so i want the flagship to be available in 3 sizes... 6"...5".... 4.3"(sorry smaller than that is just plain useless and you should buy a cellphone rather than a smartphone or go apple)... I also want zero bezels which are useless imo.

now as size is settled lets talk about shape...as i mentioned, i want a rectangular shape with a very very slight curve at the back maybe to fit better in the palm but is not absolutely necessary... i think this shape is much better than all the current flaships... nokia is a brick... htc one is a bigger iphone.. apple is just whatever... samsung is a soap... xperia Z is again a brick,,,this is really nice....

now as that is done... lets talk about what should be at the back... i want it made of metal... very sleek looking black metal, or white for some....

now material is done... but i had this idea yesterday and i am sure if the gaming company razer decided to make a phone it would be this way and would look amazing although impractical and battery hounding... they are busy building tablets for gaming though... so what am i talking about?? here...

Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]

what i would like is the outline of the phone done the same way this mouse has or in a similar, led lit, way(with the option of turning it on and off from the software in the phone)....

now as you guys have seen this mouse also... steelseries sensei...

Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]

the logo at the back can be led lit too... and you can change the color from your software of the led....

now i would like to see that too on the phone... logo can be turned on or off like that(ofcourse battery issues if left on) and also that you can change the colors of the side lighting and that of the logo seperately and turn them off or on seperately... that would really add the the "gimmick" "shashka" of the device... this idea is coming soon from someone atleast(battery problems ofcourse)...

2. The internal specs and screen:-

A full RGB 1080p screen for the 6" and 5" sizes and 720p for 4.3" and that should be amoled ofcourse... the above shashkas with the infinite contrast would be oh so pretty...accuracy be damned although we will want color profiles like the ones samsung has introduced to tune the colors to our liking...

Big battery ofcourse due to the heavy requirements of the phone and i don't want a super duper thin phone... anything around or below 10mm would do and i don't care about the weight either...

octa core chip or anything of equal power or energy saving efficiency or better if available... 4gb or 3gb ram which is next gen and faster than the current gen...

all the sensors and blah blah and infra too for remote features...

128gb internal memory and a microsd card slot for extention aswell.... native ntfs support and the device capable of powering atleast 1tb hdds is not bad either(note2 could do it but long usage could damage the board due to excessive power demand as reviews say)

camera should be pureview 808 grade(well one can wish... can they not??)

front camera to be atleast 5mp...

audio chip should be sabre ES9018 dac capable of 192khz/24bit and i also want a small internal amp circuitry for the headphones of bigger size(iems are useless)

usb on the go adapter should be something simple like 5pin mhl samsung adapter or something cheap but i need speed through it and i need it to be capable of being used with external dacs as a digital source...

speakers should be infront maybe?? but i want them loud and i want them to be super clear and crisp without distortion...

a camera button is a must as well...

okay i am done... don't really want anything else or maybe just forgot

3. Software:-

native ntf support and usb on the go features are already mentioned.... i want something that is light and fast although the hardware is certainly capable of handling even samsung's bloatware so i won't mind... but i want widgets with the light feeling of ios... I want the android's capability of the device being used as a usb drive and just play anything without resorting to things like jailbreaking or itunes.... anyhow... i want something that allows piracy too so i will stick to android for now... something like a cm10 maybe...

i cannot think of anything else... please add your views about your fav. builds and add things too which i might have missed... look at this black oppo5

imagine this thing at night with those bling bling leds for lighting up logo atleast but preferable an outline of the phone too... something that optimus prime might use:D

No it wouldn't be technically difficult at all it would just increase the production cost a little.

well if they are touch screen buttons then it is just a software feature and won't cost much...

A touchscreen button would cost more than the static capacitive buttons I am sure. But yes it won't be anything significant and its just that no manufacturer has thought of this so far. I don't see a single advantage of a static touch button over a touch screen button.

manufacturers should ask the users to come up with great ideas rather than throwing features which most of us do not want... a large pool of thinkers are bound to produce some brilliant thoughts...

No manufacturer is trying to target the android enthusiast which is stupid since its so difficult to take on Samsung in getting the casuals. Smartphone passion is so high now that if you make the right product for the power user they will pay heavy price for it if needed to.

For me the ideal button configuration on android would be,

1. Hardware home button in the center
2. Left touchscreen as back button
3. Right touchscreen left empty to dynamically show the menu button whenever needed
4. Double tap home button for app switcher
5. Long press home button for universal search

I believe 1, 4 and 5 are things that should be left to hardware buttons as they are too annoying to do accidentally, samsung has got it right in this regard. But ofcourse with touchscreen acting as buttons one could change the configuration around as they like.

This sort of configuration could be even more useful for tablets as the buttons could change direction with rotation.

what about actual physical buttons?? are you in favor of an individual camera button?? or a button for something specific like that?

I said I prefer physical home button. And yes I really like having a physical button for camera as well but it must be said that in order for a camera button to be useful it has to be big or otherwise it causes too much shake which renders it useless like on most sony phones.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
