don't make any impulsive decisions. apple is probably going to introduce new macbooks this month along with the new IPAD. You may as well wait and get whatever the latest model has to offer if you're spending over 100k.

I've been researching on getting this and have decided to wait until the new models arrive before I fork over 150k. I expect it to last at least 5 years tho since I'm not into PC gaming. But it would be amazing to have the battery life with haswell plus the retina display.

well its a free world and everyone has their own choice. if i didnt feel like waiting and getting one,so i did plus i went with this specific model for one major reason that is upgrades,u cant open up the new ones and do upgrades or repairs that easily.as far as the new ones are cncrnd,its impossible for you to get em in pk for 150k in the start so wait till next year. n best of luck

I personally prefer the non retina MBPs. You're not stuck with the same hardware all its life. And I also like to think that I could use a disc although i dont remember the last time i pressed the eject button on my pc.

And I guess 102k is great value for a virtually brand new MBP.

i ve decided to stick with this one for now so m not selling it,i will wait and see if the new retina thts being announced on 22nd is worth an upgrade.till then i am gonna upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8gb 1600mhz from pakmac
