LG Optimus G users, how to flash kitkat 4.4.2 on f180?

Hello LG optimus G F180L users

I have LG Optimus G F180L (LG U +) at home

Converted to E975 europe with f180l baseband/modem of course

rooted - and Stock recovery

As F180L official update to kitkat 4.4.2 is available.
if i flash its kdz over this converted thing will it work? or do i have to do something else first?

and did any1 of u tried this guide [Guide] convert F180 to E975 with Kikat 4.4.2 Stock E975V20A - xda-developers

KDZ is the stock firmware that phones are shipped with, yes it will work but for proper process visit XDA else you will have a damn good looking paper weight

yes i am familiar with kdz flashing. But as fone is f180l converted to e975 do i need something else to do first or flash with common method

I have F240L that was converted to e988, I just flashed original 4.4 Korean KDZ and had to do nothing. As far as I know converted to e975 means a debloated original rom with f180L kernel source.

bro when i try to flash kdz i get error your device has the latest software available from lg mobile support tool

Yes because now LG mobile tool now check it online just like apple you have ro trick it by editing host file to make it work offline
Btw that method works with g pro, for e970 I use lgpnst software to revert back to stock.

This thread might help for installing KDZ above 1gb, btw this didnt work for me so I used this following guide and it worked for F240 every time though I am not sure about f180

Glad to help so this shows it works perfectly on f180 aswell, any problems with official update ?? like Call to Korea etc etc ?? and edge/3g working ? do update about these very annoying problems.

yes call to korea, call to local is there
didnt try edge 3g
fixed sms issue with textra app
no annoying korean issue just call to korea thing

disabled all korean apps

JB or Kitkat I didnt find any difference in the performance, both run very smooth with equal performance IMO

KK is released only in Europe so far, in Spain perhaps. I haven't found kdz of other countries. When you were using stock e975 on f180l, was video telephony option there? You tried 3G to make video call?
