Thanks for letting me ..dude. So tell me which duel games are running without lagging?

Well that would be me drifting away from the topic of the thread but games that run pretty good online are ssf4, Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 and blazeblue continum shift. The new fighting game street fighter vs tekken is due in march and since its a capcom game i am sure its online is going to be solid like the previous capcom titles like Sf 3 rd strike, ssf4 and umvc3

Well, I already had enough FGs to play (Blazblue, Soul Cal 5, Marvel, SFxt) but I bought KOFXIII today.
I keep hearing pro players say how this is the most proper, hardcore fighting game released this gen, and I agree. I can't call myself a FG player without owning it. I like watching KOF on stream (those HD combos!) and I guess learning the game will enhance that experience.

I'll be spending time mainly in training mode, as this is my first proper KOF. If anyone wants to play and teach me the game, just send me a message on PSN. However, I fully expect the netcode to be crap.

I also have to decide on a team. I like Terry, Maxima, Kensou, King, Joe, Andy and Ralf from the videos I've seen.

i agree.. KOF 13 is the best FG.. its soo soo much fun to play.. no such thing as lameass P-links or shortcuts.. inputs are strict and i think thts one the things tht seprate a pro from noob..

Sadly, the online is shit.. otherwise i wud've stopped playing SF4 a while back...

Go for Takuma man .. such a badass character..

Still waiting for that patch , Damn these guys are slow . This is such a amazing game , its sad that nobody in SNK is giving a shit to improve its online

I thought the patch was a great improvement. =\ As soon as I downloaded it, I played a dude in Hong Kong with a 3-bar connection and the match was lagless. But the trouble is that it's hard to usually find someone with that kind of a connection.

Also, can we please stop pretending as if SFIV is the only game that has input short-cuts? >.> It's kinda annoying and completely false.

Well, to be honest, I played 1 ranked match (and lost). Don't know who it was against. I guess must have been a US player, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. It was better than most of my SFxT matches. There was a few frames of input delay, but the match didn't feel like it was running underwater. There's no one playing though. Online's pretty dead.

Can't think of any non-Capcom games that have input shortcuts.
Blazblue, SC, MK, Tekken, Marvel don't have it AFAIK. SSFIV, SFxT have them. I think 3S had them in some form but I'm not sure.

Man this game is hard. Its my mission to get good with a couple of characters. This will improve my execution in other games.

MK hardly counts... The engine is sooo lenient, it's kinda insane. I don't know about SC or BB cause I haven't played them, but off the top of my head Tekken has at least one kind of input short-cut I can think of. Again, I don't know much about Tekken so I won't say much about it. But you what does have a good amount of shortcuts?

This game. KOFXIII. And I don't mean just this iteration of KOF, many of these short cuts have been in previous KOFs as well like '98, and '02.

i have yet to check , Iron says it has and failed but i havent heard about the patch on the forums. If the patch has failed i will be selling this game off right away .

there was a update about a month back or even before that but i though there is new update i thing i should check it my self

There was an update a few weeks back. I read about it on GAF. Its a 6 MB update that I had to install when I put the game in.
As far as I know, there won't be anymore updates.

The netcode doesn't seem garbage to me. Its not great, but its average.
