It will be more than enough on that lowly resolution and your graphic card is also a really good one. BTW which laptop is this?

GTA IV is a badly programmed piece of software, at least on the PC. You can try running it on a 980X and u arent going to get anywhere with the sliders set near 100.

If you read around, most people will say it is very CPU dependent, but my experience says otherwise. On a 4.0GHz Core i7-920, at 1080p, with most sliders around mid, i get about 30-45 fps (Depending where exactly the mid is) and my cpu usage is about 36%.

Crysis is the exact opposite. It requires a lot graphical oomph, but you're going to get much better results on crysis as compared to GTA IV

no the gt4 isnt badly programmed
all those ati fans ( including me ) get dissappointed as cpu tends to be consumed more reason PHYSX when it is ati the physx is not done by the gpu instead it is first calculated by the cpu that requires a lot of cpu resourse and then software render is done on the gpu but if u have a dx 11 nvidia u will see that ur cpu is used not more then 65-75 % as compared to 95% in the former case
i hope u got the point
