PORTABLE Ipod or Mp3 Player?

Hi as i am planning to get a piece for music so i need your kind suggestion. I am thinking to buy Apple Ipod Shuffle 2GB or Philips Go Gear Mp3. I am confused between these two that which is more durable and worth to buy, Please give me right suggestion, Thanks

Well I just got a apple ipod shuffle 2gb and I am quite satisfied with it. You won't find any mp3 players better then Ipod's.

Never get a shuffle for the love of god! No screen is tough as hell.

Personally id recommend trading in your cellfone for a XpressMusic or Walkman fone. Carrying around two things = boring.

I will buy a decent phone after exams but for now i have to buy a music piece so just clear up the idea between these two products. Check Phillips mp3 player also.

Get Creative Zen 4GB for almost the same price as ipod shuffle 2 GB. First you get extra 2 GB, second you get Creative EP-830 in ear headphones which are exceptionally better than ipod earphones.

If asking for opinion I'll recommend IPOD. My younger bro use it carelessly but still its a good resisting product.

Well i saw some sony mp3 players, they are awesome but the problem is availability of originals. Can anybody from rawalpindi confirm me one shop where i could see theses items and make my choice. Anybody can knows about PAN PACIFIC i think they are official representatives of SONY in blue area.

I researched alot my myself but i am not satisfied with these players anymore. Now my eyes are on Nokia 5220 Xpress Music phone. I find this phone very good for music, It has 24 hours playback time and has very sexy body. I have got 5700 xpress music, personally I feel that I made a very good choice buying since its one of the cheapest and efficient smartphones available. Music sound is so excellent with the stereo speakers... and more over it got S60 OS9.2 in which you install all apps, games, n-gage.

Don't know about SE, never bought it. It's 3rd year using it and i am quite satisfied.

IMO Apple Ipods are just status symbol nothing fancy in them.You can get way better MP3 players nowadays in the same price or half of the price of IPOD itself.I got a Audionic Mp3 player 1 GB,Man what you DONT have in it is NOTHING.its a USB (got its own data handler program),notpad file opener and many other cool features just for rupees 1500/- or less . and you can get a 2GB one for 2100/-..
Well thats what i think.But i still suggest you to think of it before buying,coz i think ONLY video ipods make some sence but when it comes to Mp3 only then any good brand would do it even a sony walkman

It is written 59$ and i converted it to PKR then its equal to 4,714rs so it is available here of 4k so it will make any difference. I saw it on Sony Middle East website and i will buy it from their retailer shops in Islamabad.
