Love the bashing going around here!!! Surprisingly its quite informative as well.
Wanted to share one concern though that keeping in view the scale of NSA's snooping, won't they be cheering for the finger print unlocking perk!

I just don't understand why Apple is using 64 soc now? Only for developer purpose apps, games? I mean seriously they are not going above 1GB ram, 64bit 5s still using 1gb ram :fp1:

Got it from developing end but why not take the advantage of 64 in terms of hardware too?

Not taking any sides here but

the 64-bit status of the A7 is a marketing tool, not a genuine performance boost. The major
reasons for adopting 64-bit architectures simply aren’t present in mobile devices. It’s not clear that a phone with 4-8GB of RAM
ever makes sense given current constraints on battery life. The blend of 64- and 32-bit software means the A7 will offer strong
performance in both categories (good), but won’t automatically have a clear benefit from doing so until the entire application stack has
switched over. That’s not going to happen for years yet, given that iOS7 supports all iPhones going back to iPhone 4.
For all the noted new features of the iPhone 5S, this 64-bit switch is almost entirely marketing fluff. It’s not going to be the key to the SoC’s higher performance. That’ll come from architectural improvements Apple integrates into the phone’s handling of 32-bit code for at least the next 6-12 months.

In short its just TOPI DRAMA

Whether its Quadcore or Octacore android or now 64bit Processor. I askd myself many times " Aisi kia tabahi ki app chal rahi hai mere cell pe which needs hundred thousand rupees hardware? ". Seriously its nothing more but a Fashion Race. Still we are into FB, Whatsapp Fruit Ninja, Emails, Tapatalk, Subway Surfers and Browsers only. And all these are not dependant upon Octacores and 64bit Architecture. Isnt it ?

Maybe you are a bigger/better expert, but just like you quoting all those sources i too quoted one of them. At the current stage there is really no advantage, in the future definitely it will be useful and i highly doubt that "future" is coming any time soon

Agree with you.. This is the reality of a mobile fone, A dual Core Galaxy S2 with 1GB Ram, 8MP Front Camera & 720p HD Front camera is more than enough for an average user needs, It can do everything which a high end Droid Can do. Enough for every day use.

1 or 2 flagships a year along with 10 other variants is trend of Droids, they keep releasing same thing is different shells with minor upgrades just to make more money. We can count app/games on fingers which can utilize Full 4 Cores.

And what does the power of A7 has to do with 64-bit? Dont tell me you think 64-bit makes a chipset more powerful. :S

Ya bro bus kiya kerein apple owe us a lot via itunes so sure in sha Allah will be posting an unboxing soon of this iphone 5shit on day 1. As always. Will be using it as a secondary mobile. Thinking to buy galaxy note 3 as my primary device. In sha Allah.

Once an iPhone Fan will always be iPhone Fan,
You can't even think about another phone Salman Bahi, I was 100% sure that Apple won't change display size or resolution in iPhone 5S, so I'm not disappointed at all, and I know iPhone 6 will have bigger display & at least 720p resolution.
Also after having 200/300 apps in iTunes library u can't just abundant them isn't it?

Btw Note 3 is also gud
