[SOLVED] Iphone 5 or Xperia Z1

Salaam guys I need your help for buying a long lasting phone according to life and features for entertainment.....

Actually I'm confused between these 2 smart phones, Iphone 5 and Xperia Z1.

At xperia Z1 side we have android which is really flexible for apps.

On the other hand Iphone have smart and compact look and my friend said after jailbreak it will also be like android or better.

Xperia Hardware: quad core snapdragon 330 gpu 2gb ram, water proof phone 5 inch Full HD display

Iphone Hardware: Dual core 1.3 with A6 chip PowerVR SGX triple core graphics 4.0 inch 640x1136 display

Attractive features:

Xperia Z1: Camera 20.7mp with Full HD video, Water Proof... (if any other please specify)
Iphone 5 : Camera 8mp but really good result,best headphones and the best thing is SIRI... (if any other please specify)

Q:Which one is Good Google Now or Siri?
A:According to my research google now is more fast responsive then SIRI but with SIRI you can talk and do all the thing what u can do with Google Now with little slow speed.

Please help what should I buy??????

Xperia Z1. Its got a decent battery, screen is great and it looks awesome.
The iPhone 5 might be good (according to some morons), but its got a terrible battery. Especially if you're a 3G user, the iPhone 5 will give you barely 4-5 hours with 3G enabled.

Xperia Z1 is good compared to Iphone 5. But Z1 viewing angles are not good. Only downside i think.

decide your eco system, then buy whichever you want. Want to download pirated music? use phone as a usb device? drop your phone in water often? don't go for iphone 5.

Google now doesnt compete Siri
and Iphone 5 has started to show its age with latest IOS
on the other hand, with Z1 you have a long way ahead of perfect updates. sony has confirmed Android L 5.0 for all Z series device. it might also get Android M update, even if it doesnt you get custom roms of M.N.O which will run make the device for smooth and snappy
Z1 seems long lasting

I got Xperia z1 as well as z2. Only drawback of z1 is it's viewing angles but otherwise it's extremely solid and has a very good battery life. If you just keep it for calls it'll give you massive four days, my last Xperia play could only last two days even with no heavy use and Camera on the right conditions will give awesome result. Also for gaming the mame (Arcade emulator) lagged some games on galaxy s3 but on Z1 they are running in ful speed. A plus point is that it can be hooked up with dual shock 3 original controller without root and with root even the cheap fake controllers will work. (With root any android phone will work)

Some people are having problems with kitkat 4.4 update but my Z1 is performing lot better after update resulting in much better battery timing and less camera noises. Also back of the phone gets just warmer after use but it's lot better than my brother's z2 which becomes twice hotter but both phones last much longer. If you can afford go for Z2 as it has better screen, viewing angles and 4k recording.

if you are IOS user so go for iphone 5 and if u r Android user then go for Z1 but my opinion is z1 :wink2:

Yes, I'm sure about the battery part.
I don't hate anything. It's just the way I see this stuff, and I could be entirely wrong you know. iOS apps are almost always better than Android ones. And then there are exclusives and games that I won't get into.
And who said anything about liking Windows Phone.

I'm having no such problem. Yes after some usage the back of z1 do get warm but not too hot, my Asus memo pad and my brother's xperia z2 do get warm at back and in case every cell.

Also while gaming any cell will get very hot.
