I went on a quick round at hafeez centre looking for one but all they told me is that they aren't available. Can anyone tell me where to find one? Or getting a locked phone from abroad the only solution?
Also any news on when gevey for ios 7 will be released?

Can't I just get the iphone gevey unlocked again after the hack is available and use it on ios6 until then? Also how much is it going to cost me?

Sadly he isn't willing to sell outside karachi. I know a friend who gets his relatives to bring him locked iphones for around 200 pounds or something. 50000rs is too much when I can get an iphone + unlock it for max 35k no?

Also. How does the imei unlock thing work? Does the phone function the same as a Factory unlock after it?

You dont need the IMEI unlock or anything. Just put your sim with gevey and start calling. Gevey sim is 99% like factory unlock. Save your money and buy Gevey unlocked iphone 5.

You should wait for final release of ios 7 on 18 September 2013 just 4 days to go.

But beware: if your iphone 5 is jailbraked than you should wait for a jailbreak solution of ios 7 than update or you loose your jailbreak.

I would like to ask few things.

This gevey sim is different then software unlocking, SU were being used in old generation iphones right?

Are there any signal, sms, gprs and edge issues with gevey sim on iphone?

Can you tell me how to verify FU on iphone before buying it? mean I want to check is it FU phone or not how do I check and verify? I never bought an iphone my self that's why asking.

Can we do video calls on Skype and Google talk on iphone to any other non iOS device?

1. Yes you are right SU is the Ultrasnow unlocked iphones. Now a days due to changes Apple made to iphone's hardware, software unlocking for new Gen iphones is very complicated but still available for iphone 4 gen.

2. Not at all. Right now i am replying you through my iphone connected via Telenor edge.

I would suggest you to get a locked iPhone from abroad and unlock it by using Remote unlocking method . you can get it from any of the online vendors like Classicunlocking.com to unlock it .
