Just upgraded my iPhone 3G to iOS 4.1. My battery is sucking so bad :/ . I charge it fully, go to sleep, wake up, my phones turned off and the battery is finished -_-
How the hell do I fix this, it's really starting to piss me off.

@GH, all blogoshpere is flooded with such type of problems after upgrading to iOS4.1/

But this problem gets solved after jailbreaking(don't know the reason WHY...)..I also upgraded to iOS4.1 and then jailbroke it..Now everything is fine..Battery gets charged within an hour(with computer) and discharge is normal!

isnt ios4 sluggish with iphone 3g ! works well with 3gs but 3g is slow with iso4 !

iOS 4.1 is said to be faster than iOS 4.0 on the iPhone 3G.

3G is much faster with 4.1 than OS 3.1.2 or 3.1.3.

Anyway I solved my battery problems. A hard reset seemed to have solved the damn battery problems. Batteries Charging and discharging fine now, didn't even turn off over night now, yay.

Iphone 3g touch problem

So the thing is that my iphone fell from my pocket and at first i thought that it was fine but now i noticed that about 1/5 of the screen's touch is not working. i.e Touch is not working on one line of icons. So i looked it up on internet.

I cannot see any cracks on the screen and the display is fine too.

So i think that its the problem of the digitizer.
Can any one tell me for how much is it going to be fix. Whats the price of digitizer(i know that it comes with the glass screen)

Any help will be appreciated

no sound in iphone??

Something strange just happned to my iphone.

None of the phones sounds are coming thru the speaker!
The keyboard clicking sound is not working, the sleep button sound is not working, the music is not playing thru the speaker, nothing!
I tried doing a soft reset and it didn't do anything

Weird thing is, the sound is working thru the headphones! This sucks...hope someone has a quick fix for this , I really dont want to do a hard reset

Any suggestions?

Guys... I have a decision to make. I'm posting this in both threads.

Well ever since I got my Samsung Wave, I've been thinking about Android phones p) The thing that attracts me the most are its Applications! Wave has OK app-support... but leaves a lot to be desired. In general phone functions, I've never used a better phone.

So I've decided to get either another phone (which I don't really need) OR an iPod Touch 4G (which I don't need either).

Help me out. Free Games, Apps - that's what I want (and even some paid ones, I'll get an iTunes gift cert.)

What should I get?

Yeah, iPhone has excellent games and a vast library with great graphics (Just look at the screenshot of Real Racing above). Although Android has many apps, but there are only few games in it. Go for iPod Touch 4G because u already have a good phone.

i need to buy a IPod touch
now i have an option to get a 2g 8gb or a 3g 8gb
getting both in almost similar price

which one should i go for ?
