Charges on bringing electronics via airplane Flight to Karachi.

First of all, I did not know where to post this thread, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong section.

I would like to know if, for instance, a relative of mine would bring a CPU from America to Karachi via luggage (hand carry or luggage), would they have to pay additional charges. Note that the CPU would be in a box and would be unopened (seal intact).

Import / custom duty on 32inch Led Tv

i am thinking about bringing 32inch LED Tv as i heard one can bring new box pack led with him without paying Custom / duties in pakistan (KHI) if you are coming from UAE
you only need to pay customs for 40inch Screens this is why i am not going for that one
i would like to be sure before making purchase i don't wanna haggle with customs .

Any one brought screen and has info about it ?

No i will be pushing it in Luggage as emirates has 2 Luggage policy under 30kg

if your tv is 32 inch buy a briefcase slightly larger than the tv dimensions lay some cloths in it put tv on them then lay some more cloths above the tv close it and you are good to go no custom or duty..

my cousin brought 3 TVs like that and paid nothing in customs..

without box under cloths would be risky Call Plus i need the box so its a no no without box No i am not thinking about hand carry because i can only keep one stuff as Handcarry thats a small Trolley bag it will have laptop as well

I would suggest If you are going to purchase than its better to buy locally.

oh i don't mean hand carrying with you in plane cabin i mean tv box along with other luggage they will apply the sticker and load it in plane cargo (airline will be responsible for any damage during flight)
