I need help of PC Gamers

Hi guys,

I want to play games like mass effect 2 on my PC. My PC is core 2 duo 2.53GHz, 2GB RAM. I need to select a graphics card for gaming but I really don’t know what card to select. So, I need help of you guys to let me select a good graphics card capable of running most games. Kindly help me selecting a good graphics card which is economical as well as capable of high performance. I’ve heard about NVIDIA graphics card so also share information in this regard.

Hope you guys will help me out.

Whats your budget? What resolution do you plan to game at?

8800GT/9800GT are the best performers for the money. Can't go wrong with it.

As far as budget is concerned; what about cards around rs.7000? Would they be able to run games like mass effect 2. At what price 8800GT/9800GT be available? Please post their price too!

Dude if u increase ur budget to 10k get a 9800 GT or a USED GTS 250

In 7k EVGA 9600 GT i am using it and it can play games on medium/high graphics at a resolution of 1440x900/1280x720:)

P.S 9600 GT is for 7800 i think

BTW one more thing never go with Inno3d get a EVGA one(the best in my view) or XFX

get the 1GB model of the 250GTS, better for higher resolutions and more future and 1GB comes useful in games like GTA 4

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

    PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
