They already do make better phones than Samsung. Too bad they fuck it up in the end with terrible battery and terrible cameras.
One had much better battery then One X, they just need a proper camera now, which to be now seems to improve

can be 3d, but there are many other features, like proper potrait shots like DSLR, and lyto affect where we can remove objects from an image.
My shitty q mobile has a better battery than the one x so don't set that phone as a standard. They do need to improve battery life, Samsung and other companies are miles ahead in that department.

Galaxy S 4 the current rival of One is not miles ahead at all, Infact it isn't ahead by any means. They both have the same battery timing.
Infact the One max is now the benchmark for battery stand-by.

HTC is going in right direction
I have used both phones as well and the HTC one doesn't even come close to the s4. Don't take my word for it. That's what gsmarena says as well.

Samsung is far better then HTC , It has only one phone better in that, Else htc's phones are shitty low memory, Battery prob, No resale value. Old ver of android...

You haven't used the One...I have used both phones as well and the HTC one doesn't even come close to the s4. Don't take my word for it. That's what gsmarena says as well.

Under full heavy use without power saving mode... My phone lasts 14 hours+ with 5 hour screen on time, 24/7 whatsapp and text messages, 2 hours call time, auto brightness, and normal 30 mins of gaming flappy bird and mini gore 2 and lastly on daily basis I listen to songs through soundcloud for at least an hour. Nothing I mean nothing comes close to the standby time of One, even after 8+ hours idle the phone drops only 4% of battery.
Tested the phone on android 4.4.2

14 hours considering your usage is just pretty average. Those are pretty basic things you do. It should last a whole day.
The HTC One also takes forever to charge, that DOES contribute to more battery problems. Pretty much all the flagship Android phones now charge very fast but HTC is still stuck in the past. The HTC One also had a myriad of quality control issues pretty much the same was the case with the One X. You CANNOT build a strong brand with unreliable products.
Anyways on topic I am so NOT interested in a 5" screen with dual front speakers AND hardware buttons, the HTC One is already big enough as it is. And yes I am gonna say the same thing about the S5 if it has 5.2" screen AND hardware buttons. Enough with this size madness!!!!

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
