How would you deal with this person ?

I am not sure how to put it but every time I go out for a run, or jogging. There is this one uncle with white beard hanging around the end of my lane, and no matter how I try to avoid him, he decides to call to me and hold my hand and doesn't let go and starts talking like he knows me for million years. Wasting my time as I have to get back at maghrib and than again he is there and repeats the same. Now he is getting on my nerves.

Any tips ?

Ignore him. Simple as that. But, you have to be a heartless for that.

if u see him next time, just say SALAM and run for it saying that u have urgently need to go somewhere else talk to ya later but this is temporary har bari yeh kaam nahi aye gaa !

Yup, kitni dafa banda karay bahana, and its always like he yells out "salam kar lain", now that's a loaded question. You can't say no to salam. Plus many times he is coming put of mosque after asar. You can't run and you can't stand. Extremely wierd moment.

Headphone idea is good. Act like you haven't heard it.
