How to file taxes ?

Hey guys,
I need to file token for my car and i want to do it as a filer, I am trying to file the taxes for my brother who is in military so he already has the NTN number, i got him enrolled in e.fbr portal as a salaried person and all i see in income tax is tax of 2012-2013, i already submitted it but now no idea what to do next ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's the image.

What's the point of creating whole E-Filing then ? they want us to file taxes and yet they have made the process so intricate that a normal person can't file without going to a lawyer.

how much tax we have to pay? if one person earns one lac per month ans pays all utility bills,how much tax he have to pay and whats the procedure?

FBR EPORTAL is a huge pile of shit.

Oh yes its completely functional and helps you file taxes easily, but any layperson simply CANNOT do it alone.

It doesn't make any goddamn sense.

You need find a taxation consultant OR someone working in Audit/Finance dept of any company who's familiar with filing Taxes.

Its NOT a difficult process, just hectic and wastes a lot of time.

The only good thing is that the FBR portal works really well and gets the job done.

If i recall correctly, there was a guide available at FBR's e-portal, about how one should use the e-portal to file tax returns.

I just hired a tax lawyer last week
Take 1k for nil return
5k for filled
5k for wealth statement for first time 2 for next
1k per month for sales tax
Reasonable and they solve all ur problems and tell u how to buy stuff to avoid tax prob in future

well its not that hard , well i have the same issue and if you want to pay token as a filer , you have to file the return of this year , and after 1 - 2 months the record is updated and your name comes up in the tax filer list n fbr website .

or when you file you can take a print of that tax return attach with your cnic copy and go to post office to pay the tax , if you dont have that proof they will treat you as a non filer period .

also please note that even if you file as a non filer and you are working as an employee of a company , then the company every months also deducts tax from your salary and files it with FBR , each year they gve you a proof copy of the amount of tax they have paid FBR .

you can then ask your finance deptt to adjust this token tax basically with holding tax in your salary against your monthly taxes .
