You never get anything while sitting on your asses. There was a time a few years ago when you could get a job while sitting in Pakistan. Not anymore. Now, you'll have to struggle, and struggle HARD for anything in UAE.
Personally, i can tell you that if you don't have 3-4 years of 'tough' experience from Pakistan market, DO NOT even try to come to UAE. Because the life here will mow you down. However, if you are flexible, have strong dedication, work ethics, and most importantly, have a degree from a university, you will definitely find a job here. Thankfully, Bachelors is much more desired here than in Pakistan.
Another thing, following things needs to be strong ... very strong if you come to UAE.
1. Your CV - As in, you know the art of marketing yourself via your CV. (Careful choice of words, with first page with maximum details)
2. Your self - As in, best in your abilities. Highly confident english speaker, knowledgeable in your field and presentable. (Its UAE. Wear a freakin' SUIT. Even if you have to go to Washroom, WEAR A COAT).
P.S. Use a 4 point cover letter while applying for CVs. No essays plz. No one gives a shit about them.
4 Points:
- Who are you? (Tag line; e.g. Qualified Chartered Accountant, 5 Years of Experience)
- What do you have? (Degrees, Diplomas etc; e.g. B.Com graduate, ACCA Qualified)
- Why you are better than others? (Strengths only: e.g. Computerized Accounting, Auditing; Capabilities; if first timer in UAE and have International Driving License, mention it.)
- Immediately available (should be); and Visa status with Expiry Date.
Improve upon these 4 points. But plz, no essays.
