Thanks for all the help guys. I suppose I'll have to decide among PTCL and Micronet. The only thing is, if I go for 1Mb, then Micronet will be out since they don't offer 1Mb unlimited.

Very heavy actually! But due to this budget thing it will all have to come down and will switch over to playing online games.

With my old 4Mb connection (which got disconnected) I downloaded aprox. 4-6GB a day so yeah.... but the ping was horrible.

Dude, I'm in Sri Lanka ATM, moving back to Pak next month (inshallah). I got 2MB atm, but I'm not paying for it so yeah lol.

Yeah, only for one month. I got crazy with the downloads, so the landlord took it back :frown:. I burnt around 20DVDs filled with movies in that month alone.

Both those connections were useless for gaming, pings were fucking high. While playing BF2 on Aussie servers I got 150 .


Anyways, 512k looks good for gaming, but if I need to download games and shit, then might have to consider over that.

Well for downloading a single game you will need approx 30Hours!
I don't download games, just divx h264 movies! and other stuff except games

Yeah thats the issue. I don't really like buying PC Games from shops because sometimes I don't trust the rip itself or the source it came from. In other words, I've had a bad experience with buying games. Some claim it to be the full version but when you get home, files are corrupt or sound/cut scenes etc missing. But yeah we'll see how that works out.

well actually you need to find a shop which burns the games itself. I got one in my city, who plays games alot and then burns them himself!. Neverever i got a problem with his games!

Well I have in my city named as Maxell Games, but their games are only available at two particular shops, and yes their games are guranteed working!
