Now i also have to say it. Seriously? o didn't know that?
Koi baat nhi bhai! Mey bhi kisi zamanay me bohut confused tha multi gpu setups k baray mey.

I just started the game. It looks absolutely beautiful with all settings turned to the max. I had to disable MSAA because it started giving me a small block of garbage display on the lower right side of the screen if I turned it on. Many people with AMD GPUs are having this problem.

Actually i just googled my concern about how Game utilizes the CrossfireX Vram. it is nothing that VRAM of both Cards stacked rather only cores are stacked. i was totally wrong about vram stacking thing.

it is actually rendering the frames in parallel way and not in series. while having 2xGPUs, the images of application render more efficiently. and you still have 3GB vram and not 6GB. and 2x3GB = 3GB but the actions perform is became faster and faster due to parallel processing. like GPU 0 render one image and GPU 1 process second image. so minutes came down to seconds that is why you achieve higher FPS or better performance in 2x GPUS comparing to single GPU.

actually brother i did faced that same garbage or say "Artifacts Block at Bottom Right Corner" but in AMD 280X only. and i tell you the main cause is driver bug for R9 280X/2xx and 7xxx/6xxx series GPUs. According to forums 290/290x are not victim of this.

This happeing when you enable MSAA + PostFX to HIGH. actually MSAA on its own nothing to do with it, PostFX is the causing problem. just remain the MSAA @2x or 4x and Lower the PostFX to "Normal" and you dont have them anymore. TESTED

BTW if anyone hasn't, upgrade your GTA V to 350.12/350.12+ as it boosts FPS I couldn't play the game at high on my low end PC as it was unplayable but after the patch I was able to play it on high at 1080p :) with ambient occulusion at normal.

Did a new patch come out yesterday? Haven't turned on home PC in a day so :(

I haven't faced any FPS problems since the second patch. Everything besides Shadows is maxed. And that AA thing is at 2x.

I played an hour or so last night. Performance seems to have improved a bit. I've also found my sweet-spot for best performance at 2560x1440. Turn off all AA except FXAA, and grass to very high. Minimum 40, average 55-60 fps nearly 95% of the time. The 980 still cannot max out this game completely though, which is good. Future generation of GPUs will be able to max out this game completely at 1080p+ with ease. One other thing I've noticed is that both Maxwell generation and AMD's latest GCN offering (R9 285) offer excellent performance as compared to GNC 1.0 and Kepler. I've seen a 960 pulling almost same performance as a 780 on this game (unexpectedly).
