Holy mother of, what a match. Liverpool absolutely destroyed Roma. Roma's second goal was IMO not a penalty, Milner could do nothing about it. Commentators talking like Roma's won the tie was hilarious. We are not fucking Barcelona, we aren't gonna sit back and defend a lead. I'm confident Liverpool can pull an away goal back in Rome given how in form our attack is.

It would be damn hard to come back from this for Roma. Their is talk of Roma's chances only because they beat Barca at home. I don't see it happening again.

If Liverpool win UCL (which is obviously a big IF), Salah will be a serious contender for this year's Ballon d'Or. Who would have thought in the presence of Messi and Ronaldo, there would be talk of another player winning this award?

Yeah overcoming a 3 goal advantage is hard as hell. They would need to come out and attack Liverpool and we in turn will attack them. I don't see us not scoring away at Roma. Its important not to get complacent, like Klopp said "It should not sound like a warning, but we are not Barcelona". I'm pretty sure we'll pull through.

Liverpool certainly has a big chance to win the UCL purely based on how good our attack is. Our defense and midfield have been quite stable as well so biased as I am, I think we a huge chance to win the darn thing. RM have experience and on their day they are unstoppable but this year they have quite vulnerable and we can exploit that. Salah already guided Egypt through WC quali, winning the UCL on top of that and hell even taking Egypt till RO16 would be quite the achievement. Plus he's only 1 goal away from breaking the all-time EPL record. He has a huge chance to do it. But I'm skeptical still.

Roma vs Liverpool

I mean never unclench eh xD. We just stopped giving a shit in the second half which was fucking horrible. But we got through and all those people calling for red card and penalty decisions, do remember decisions went against our way as well. Mane will clipped in Roma's half and that penalty against Milner in the first leg was very harsh. The better team won and is in the final. Fairplay to Roma for giving us a fight but the tie was won when we scored 5 goals.

Atletico vs Arsenal

1-0 was the most Atletico scoreline ever lol. Arsenal were jaded, the squandered a brilliant opportunity in the first leg and they were just bad in the second. I'm really interested in seeing who Arsenal appoint next season because they've been in shambles past two seasons. They have the talent but they need the right manager as well.

Did you guys read the latest news about Karius's concussion? Apparently he had a head scan in USA and the doctors determined that he suffered a concussion when he got struck by Ramos before the first goal. I mean that would explain why he let in those goals. His spatial awareness was all kinds of screwed up. Karius had been solid for us all season until the final. As it stands, if we can't get Oblak (doubt he would come) we should give Karius another season because his last season was pretty solid and I think he can improve upon that greatly. This final although a low for him, could prove to be mental challenge and if he overcomes that I have no doubt he'd become a great keeper for us.

Lol the hell is happening in the WC. Russia blitzed Egypt away. Freaking Poland lost too. I know Senegal is a great team but damn did they choke Poland out effectively. I don't how long its been since we had such an exciting start to the world cup.
On topic of England, they played quite positively. Its a good start and the squad looks reasonably well gelled together. Shout out to Loftus-cheek for an amazing performance in such a short time. Referee was atrocious though.

Quite a shocker. Kroos had an appalling game, he was constantly isolated and that didn't do the defense much good. Should have played Reus from the start. The game changed as soon as he came on.
