What about your own opinion man? Bioshock Infinite is a fantastic game, better than Bioshock 1 in many ways and perhaps a little worse in others. In any case it's definitely my personal GOTY alongside The Stanley Parable. Bioshock Infinite deserves alot of praise, It's not a perfect game but neither is any other game to have come out this year or ever for that matter.

I know that alot of people (including many journalists) are trying to undermine it's importance and quality but I disagree with them completely.

out of GOTY awards, i don't see people talking abt TLOU either. the only game that still lives in this regard is GTA5 which is actually holding No.1 on GDEX.

Ever heard about fans? They like to contribute in whatever way possible towards their favorite games, be it articles about its story telling, some art pieces, the multiplayer experience the upcoming DLC and future prospects of the franchise. The fact that #OutBreakDay was trending on twitter prior to the announcement of the DLC proves this game has a lot of fan following. Go give google a whirl and look for just Art pieces done by the fans for TLOU. You'll get the idea.

So yes GTA V is a massive game, but TLoU is a massive experience with characters and story which will be never be forgotten.

With the exception of games released on WiiU, I've played both the last of us & GTA:V

Last Of US, while a good game, doesn't offer anything unique and isn't without its flaws. It certainly is overrated in my eyes, just as other games are overrated in yours. Except for the emotional blackmail going on-screen after every 5 minutes of gameplay, it is lackluster to say the least.

So yes, I am speaking from experience, and I'm certainly not impressed . I made it an exception to at the very least try and end TLOU, I only played GTA: V for about 2 hours tops, before I shut down. Not my cup of tea anymore to be honest. Driving games bore me to tears.

Quarter To Three : Grand Theft Auto V

I dont know why somebody even bother to make a thread and wait for the decision. GTA 5 is going to win no matter how much you like your respective favourite games.

There are two games I played which I felt had no right to exist. First it was Planetside 2 back an year ago when I played it. You jump into the battlefield and 250 people are fighting for an AMP station, you jump to another location in 10 seconds on the field and 50 tanks 50 jets raiding an outpost. That game was unrealistic.

The other game is GTA 5 on old gen consoles. I dont know what they did with the optimization, but the end result is nothing I ever imagine I would see on old gen consoles. Yes there is no AA and framerates are horrible at places, but the console where small map transitions take minutes to load, the whole game felt so streamlined. Just give them the GOTY for this technical feat and be done with it.

4.Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock infinite was a good game IMHO nothing more. The Core Gameplay was outdated and that was the biggest negative for me about Bioshock Infinite. Not surprising seeing it still on 0 points

lol you of all people. In last year's thread, you spent half of your time trying to explain to people how Journey is a silly little work of art that no one will take seriously. Turned out, it won a majority of goty awards.
