When you play your first Supply Raid and Survivors match, you unlock a trophy. You haven't unlocked that trophy, meaning you haven't played the multiplayer. How can you tell it's not evolving when you haven't even played it

I never said i played the mp but u dont need on-hands experience to know what maps & game types it has. now that u mentioned it, does it really have a evolving MP like GTA5?

Overrated, overhyped, blah blah. Tell that to the critics. Gta5 is a beauty. The voice acting n gfx r superb. Best i have seen in a game. In my opinion TLOU is over praised. Same old concept, packed fancy. But i liked both games so doesn't matter if either one of those is the true goty.

The other game is GTA 5 on old gen consoles. I dont know what they did with the optimization, but the end result is nothing I ever imagine I would see on old gen consoles. Yes there is no AA and framerates are horrible at places, but the console where small map transitions take minutes to load, the whole game felt so streamlined. Just give them the GOTY for this technical feat and be done with it.

It is a very impressive technical feat indeed and i have said that several times but GOTY awards are not given on technical accomplishments. The Last Os Us is similarly technically impressive and has next to no loading after the initial one. It also has the best animation system in any game released so far.
Meanwhile i still love going on rampages in GTA V and especially have fun with it since it has basically infinite replay value.

Anyways, i haven't finished much of Tearaway to determine if it fits my GOTY(I loved what i played so far) but my Top 3 for this year will remain the same.

1. The Last Of Us
2. Ni No Kuni
3. GTA V

Still to decide: Tearaway

Who knows, Tearaway will end up making the jump

Story is an important part of the game, but not the one that supersedes the gameplay, the world and the freedom with how you progress in the world. THere's no one or two "most favorite" games that I like most, those that I love playing, end up on my steam list. There are way too many for me to list here.

Unsurprisingly, not many

Its not my most beloved platform, but its definitely the one that gives me most freedom with what I want to do with it any way I deem fit.

I haven't played GTA V's MP, so I can't really give a fair opinion here. But, from what I've seen, it has your standard 8 vs 8 games modes (TDM, CTF etc.) in an open-world environment? And you get to use the tons of vehicles at your disposal as well. If open-world is your criteria for a game to be evolving, then sure enough, GTA V's MP seems to be doing just that. It's interesting, no doubt about it. But then, so is TLoU's MP. The unique traits of the single-player game (crafting, listen mode etc.) carry forward into the MP. It's different from your standard shooters in many ways.

Thankfully, with the XBO/PS4, it's easier to share what you've played, so it'll become increasingly difficult for people to be evasive when questioned for evidence.

LOL not true. GTA has just released Creation Mode, where you can create your own races and Shooter game modes. Racing also includes planes and shit.

YOu can buy suites and stuff where your teammates hangout and create crews.

Then there are coop HEISTS in the pipeline.

I definitely agree that PC has the most freedom, that cannot be matched by any other console/gaming hardware.

The only reason i asked this question was that for most of us, owning/loving a platform amounts to the exclusives and games it receives. But i have noticed that you love the unparalleled freedom of PC gaming, nothing wrong with that though. Mods definitely enhance the replay value of most games + the ability to play it on higher resolution and super sampling and what not basically equates to playing the HD remaster of a game on PC, years after its release.

Yes the reason being there are hardly any worthwhile PS3 exclusives. Yes one year you had to play Journey. Yes it is GOTY but real hardcore games dont think it is a real game. Even if it is, it merely lasts 2 hours so I congratulate you that for a whole year you kept playing journey and never had to play multiplatforms which are superior on one known platform.

The post was directed at DLM who is sidelining huge PC Indies scene. Refer to Necros post above

PC is home to games like Minecrafft, Gone Home, Terraria and Starbound. These are top Steam games, so not only me whole PC community is into Indie games.

Just FYI, i don't consider Journey an indie game. At least not a proper indie game per se. It was a joint effort of SSM and thatgamecompany. Of course, others might disagree but that's just me.
