Contact PAWS or some other animal welfare association.. They can help you get it to its rightful owner. Plus if there is any vet nearby, pay them a visit.. they might know the owner if the owner bought the animal to the vet for checkups/vaccination etc.

Although it wasn't entirely intelligent of the guy to have created a thread for the pet found on PG, looking for an owner, but one's gotta appreciate his/her kind gesture. As far as the breed of the cat goes, I don't really think it matters much at this point but it would be very nice of the founder to post a picture or two so that anyone claiming the cat can be entirely sure it's his/hers.

If you put up flyers or post an adoption ad on olx or look for the owner yourself, there are chances that you will receive false claims and the cat would go in the wrong hands. Afterall, who doesn't fancy a free pet? Anyone claiming it could 'adopt' it and sell it for a handsome amount considering the cat is so playful and you said it's probably a persian as well.

I'd suggest that you keep it yourself if you like it and your family agrees to make room for it, spare time for it and be willing to put up with its tantrums. Otherwise, by all means contact a renowned PET welfare society in your area as alamode rightly suggested. The cat is better of staying in custody of the welfare rather than finding a scrooge who'd claim her and then treat her like a toy.

I hope the cat finds a good home and I do appreciate your efforts and intentions to put it where it belongs.

Most pet owners have liked vet's and animal welfare pages on facebook.. so your best bet is to ask their help.. maybe if they can post the picture on their page, the owner will see it and identify it.

Guys There is a bad news...at night suddenly the cat jumped from my gallery (4th floor) and its a siamese cat..
i took the cat to doctor he said for an x ray then went to dar ul sehat hospital and done the x ray..her hand is fractured and doctor is asking for 6000rs for surgery :/
i swear i dont have 6000 and from last 3 days my coaching classes are getting missed..i cannot see the cat in this condition please if someone wants to adopt the kitten please contact me..m just a 1st year student no one is gona give me 6k .. :s

Contact them ASAP PAWS | Pakistan Animal Welfare Society if no one willing to adopt , my friend had a sick cat he can't afford his treatment he give it to paws , they treated it and took better care of it

i found a very young and small puppy of some genuine breed on my door 3 days ago.. don't know about dogs much so can't say much about it but one of my relatives said it looks like a German Shepherd's offspring,
it's really innocent and pretty, light brown color, Tidy so i suspect that it was some one's pet,
i wanted to keep it but folks disagreed because so i can't.. had to leave it on it's fate
i see it playing with grass and following people, feels sad to leave the cute lil thing at it's fate...
today when i was going out he followed me but i stood still and followed it instead he was frightened and moved backwards.. what a kid

Do you know of a cousin or a friend who might be willing to adopt her and perhaps get her treated asap? If not, you could try some other vet who'd charge lesser for the treatment.
