MULTI Far Cry 3 |OT| Achieved with Maximum Insanity

What's the craziest thing that's happened to you ? I got attacked by a pack of wild bears while clearing out an enemy camp lol, that area wasn't even a bear spawn location. Must've been a glitch. Other than that, in one of the camps there's one of those killer shitarmurghs in a cage, I shot the cage and watched in awe as that one single shitarmurgh went and killed like 5 or 6 armed guards before running away from the camp lol. They never got him, he just ran out of the enemy tracking range and ran away.

Like i said in a earlier page, I also freed a Tiger and he killed almost all of the guards in a enemy outpost. Sadly, when i was celebrating my victory, he killed me as well.

There were also 2 bugs that i noticed. One happened when we had to use the glider for the first time and glide to a ship. I was using it and proceed to go downwards to the ship when suddenly the game glitched, i re-spawned in front of the ship and there were no guards. Every guard was dead which meant i couldn't do the mission. I had to retry the mission again.
Similarly, when i killed a guard, he proceed to stand and didn't fall on the ground even though he was shown as dead. We could even loot his body when he was standing :lol:

can the "co-op" campaign be played solo ? and does it have any sort of story addition to it ? or is it just a series of co-op challenges ?

I just tried it for a few minutes. It is mostly good for co-op and cannot be played alone. You need to have 2 controller in order to start it. It seems to have a story as well. I dunno how it is linked to the main story other than being on the same island.

Note: The game has been patched today and it runs a lot smoother now, which allows to enjoy the environments a lot more. Also, the DirectX 11 feature which was odly blocked for some people is now available in the menu, so graphics benefit from it, even when not pushing all the directX 11 features to the maximum. In our images for example, we used no MSAA Antialiasing, standard Alpha to Coverage, and SSAO only. Now we're talking.

What is the difference b/w "farcry3.exe" and "farcry3_d3d11.exe"? I mean that I still can turn DX11 on while using farcry3.exe. so whats the meaning of having two exe files?

I was hunting Buffalos and out of nowhere, a Tiger jumped on the Buffalos and killed it in front of me. It was just like in the Wild Life documentaries. I was like Da Fuq, I tried Sniping him but he seemed to be one tough SOB and he easily killed me before i could take him down

FarCry3 Delux version i just extract all files and install Uplay let him update and also create an account.
when they ask me for CD key i just press enter.
When i push button to play game they said Unable to start the game check your game install correctly

Apart from the game's patch update to increase performance, NVIDIA's LATEST DRIVERS INCREASE FPS BY AS MUCH AS 38%.

Yup, as predicted, the title update and new drivers make a significant difference, especially for the GTX6xx range of GPUs.

Okay so the things that will improve FPS:
DX9 mode improves FPS by around 25-30% in exchange for poorer shadows, lighting, worse grass AI.
Patch improves FPS by around 20% judging by impressions on the internet.
BETA drivers improve performance for 660ti by 40% and 680 by 38%.

If I were playing without a patch, without beta drivers, and with DX11 mode before, and was getting 30 FPS, then with the drivers, DX9 mode, and patch I could get around:
~45-50 FPS average. (ofcourse I won't get this much considering I have a 2 core processor, maybe 40-45 FPS average).

im getting 25-30fps on DX11 everything set to max and no AA...latest nvidia drivers and latest game update..so i guess you should be able to get more than that

Looks like both PC and 360 versions have received title updates, but I haven't played the game since applying the title update, so I'm not sure exactly what, if any, improvements the console title updates make.
