PC F1 2010

it was nice and surprising to see an F1 thread!! it seems not many are following this game. I simply love the game, and currently doing one race per day (whole weekend).... though due to my heavy schedule(and because I don't have a gamepad yet) I'm going off in easy mode, with tyre and fuel sim on...

but honestly speaking, this game deserves a gamepad... and i'm actually surprised that you guys are playing it on hard with keyboard! that is hardcore... !

Sexxxxyyy. None of us will be much of a challenge mate. I think we're all using our keyboards I'll try and figure out how things work with grimreaper and then guide you guys through the process too.

Just played this game today, played it with keyboard....

With which team? One of the lower tier ones? If so then that's awesome. Btw which difficulty setting are you playing on?

i played 1st season with williams after that most of the apporach me but i choose renault and now i am at the top of the chart with 207 points in 14 races i play on easy settings .

Playing on med difficulty, all assists off. Fuel sim is off but tyre is on I think (hate the pitstops).

Got done with Bahrain with Lotus. Was 8th in qualification but ended up with 3rd position in the race (podium w00t), just behind them Redbull boys (damn theyre good).

Finally a forum for F1 2010 . I am a huge fan of the sport well its my favourite ( ok ppl dont kill me if i dont like cricket lols).Anyway play on the x360 and must say very difficult to play with a controller although i am sure the pc version must be even more difficult.This game i believe should be played with wheel if you put in some serious lap times.I play with mostly partial traction control and racing line on only corners and of-course auto gear shifting.People are reporting glitches with the console version although the only glitch i have experienced so far is that in suzuka the ghost car seems to be very far behind and when i do put up a time turns out i was slower .Apart from that i have not experienced any problem.I mostly play practice setting up a time.Becomes frustrating at times which i am sure many would have experienced by now.I am only 2 races into the season.Anytime i get to play F1 2010 i try to set the fastest time.Its kind of difficult with a controller and i am sure with a racing wheel i can improve a further 1 to 1.5 sec per lap max but it costs too much to buy so have settled for the controller for now.

Hahaha yeah refnulf it was a face palm experience indeed. However things might get really really interesting if we have a couple more players.So guys,come on join up the experience is insanely fun specially with the spin outs

Dude,what you are asking is whether apples are better than bananas.They are two completely different things.If you are a die hard f1 fan then you'll love it.If you like your games to be technical and challenging then you'll love it. But if you are more of an arcade racer then I don't thing this would be your cup of tea.However,since PC games don't cost a fortune then I don;t think there is any harm in buying it and giving it a shot.

Awesomely done game. Very realistic (when difficulty notched up a bit). Great track, terrain, car details.
Best F-1 game to date.

Not a huge fan of F1 so did not like it deleted after 10min of gameplay

ABS: On
TCS: Full
Racing line: Corners only
Damage: Full
Tyres: Realistic
Fuel: Realistic
Pit limiter: Manual
Transmission: Manual sequential
AI difficulty: Legend

And finding it quite fun
