There is nothing called ideal weight.
Consider 2 people: 1 is heavy weight bodybuilder, the other is a thin person without muscles. If you check their weights, you will think that the muscular guy is overweight and the thin guy is healthy. But actually, it is completely opposite. The reason is that weight is not an accurate indicator: You need to measure your body's composition: How much percentage of fat do you have on you? The less the fat, more healthy you are. The bodybuilder is healthy because his fat is very low, even though his weight may be high because that weight is from muscle. The thin guy may have less weight, but he has more fat on him which makes him less fit (also called skinny fat). You can measure body composition by body fat callipers. Around 20% body fat for men is average. 10-15 % is fit.

If you are in a caloric deficit, then yes, fiber will probably fasten results. But I love biryani, quorma, kadahi, sweets and what not. I would much rather enjoy food and be fit than eat boring food and become fit
