Although i don't play in absolute darkness but i do dim the lights down a couple notches and increase the volume to a considerable level. Thats the BEST way to play a game like this. Dead space 1 had an amazing sound design and this game is nothing short of that.

And what i love about this game is that it really does scare the crap out of me sometimes, but when i finally let go of my nuts and catch my breath i am like "Man that was awesome! :eek:"

i dont know y u guys didnt knew about this but i am playing the game since 3 days...It was leaked 3 days ago.And i am about to end it now :D.
The game is no doubt very awesome,variety of gameplay experience and they maintained the HORROR :)
Visceral Games didnt fail to deliver us :)
Its not as awesome as Dead space 1 but it is still great game.

cause the pc version was only clone dvd

Cant say its better than the first one.
The original dead space was a unique and fresh experience,thats y it looked so great.But Dead space 2 is great because they maintained the HORROR and the gameplay experience.Dead Space 1 was a complete Horror...Dead Space 2 has variety experience.
The best thing i liked abt the game is ,i didnt expected that Visceral Gmaes can make the game this much good,cuz original developers left the studio.

Well, in my opinion, DS2 is definitely better and at least twice as scary as the original was. Some of the set pieces are simply mind boggling!!

Of particular mention is....

Spoiler: show
....the part where Issac is inside a detached tram, and he has to zero-g across to the other side. Everything that happens from there - sliding down to the exit while shooting away at necromorphs, and eventually crashing, tumbling, and hanging upside down outside the tram with one foot stuck in the wreckage, only to get ambushed by another pack of necromorphs - was one heck of a thrill ride!


Also, when....

....Nicole pops up inside the elevator and slowly whispers something (forgot what she said) - that was pretty spooky!

Of more concern to me is if the controls on the PC dont suck like the original Dead Space. I never bothered finishing that game ... so pathetic were the controls.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
