^^So any advice on the Gargoyle fight? Fighting the one gargoyle is easy enough but then the second one jumps in and they both start breathing fire and it gets really tough.

Trick here is to get one before the second one jumps in. Most attacks of second one are ranged fire, so maintain your distance and you will be good. Cut of the tail of 1st gargoyle and you get a nice weapon. With drake sword, just two hand it and start mashing behind him, once he does an attack. Its a pretty easy fight for what you have in store next.

Start over, he's tough to beat if your just level 2-6. This time don't hit him, atleast not yet XD
There was a similar guy in Demon's Souls, all negative and sh*t but atleast he had the decency to kill himself and turn himself into souls, which came in handy when you have a new character

I thought so. Thanks. I did search around and found on youtube that I could pay for my sins and fix up all the npcs. I found my way to the church elevator but couldn't see how to get the guy to stop stalking me :/

just lock onto an enemy and use the side controls to strafe left or rite.btw the gargoyles battle was the easiest for me.i remember dying just once.they are pretty weak and take huge amount of damage if u can pull a 2 hand attack with a drake sword.

^^No that's not what I meant, I'm talking about circle strafing which instantly puts you behind the enemy so that you can do a crtical strike from behind, I've seen people do it during the E3 demo and some of the guide vids I've seen on youtube.It was really fast, something you can't do by just pulling the sticks and pressing B, I have no idea what it is.

^Thats backstabbing and you have to be behind the enemy and press R1( ps3 controller) button only (with sheild button not being pressed)...btw bosses cant be backstabbed...

You can do that with slow enemies, there's a trick. You run straight at the enemy, pass him, turn 180 and attack. Again only works on slow enemies and is risky, u might eat a sword blade. This is done alot on pvp and mostly by lag exploiters. It's not a reliable tactic. Your best bet is to dodge and block, i pretty much only parried the black knights throughout the game. It took me 30 mins to learn their attack timings, now i can parry them everytime they try to attack me. The only reason i did this was my character was too weak to fight them.

Bosses are extremely easy. Infact with most bosses, initially i would advise a double handed approach, dodge thier attacks. Early on, your shield isn't going to soak much damage for you. Dodge the gargoyles attack, run and give him 3 hits and back off. Try to kill the gargoyle quick so ur not overwhelmed by both of them. If you're facing problems, go human and summon a phantom or so. Even if ur playing online u can summon an npc phantoms, Solaire. He'll distract the enemy enough for u to get in hits easily.

Ahh yes, the capra demon and his dogs raped me thoroughly the first play through.

Here's what u gotta do, as soon as u enter. run slightly to the right to pass the capra demon from your right side. Run like a Abuses will lead to ban up the stairs and step out on the arch, go into the corner. The capra demon can't reach u there and will fall down, the dogs will be able to, kill the dogs and plunge attack the demon downstairs.

Capra demon on his own is very easy, the dogs stunlock and bang you up. Get to the ledge and kill the damn dogs asap.

Alright so I managed to kill the gargoyle's in under 60 seconds on my 3rd try, I guess it really was an easy fight after all.Went in two handed and quickly killed the first gargoyle before the 2nd started breathing fire and it was pretty easy from then on.And I've also killed the one legged titan demon near the entrance to the dark root garden but that guy really took a toll on my drake sword, reduce durability by over 100 during that fight.

I don't get it, Capra Demon was the easiest boss fight I've had in the game.
Heck Havel gave me a much harder time than him.

Capra Demon isnt tough. I can easily slice that bastard into ribbons. Only trouble is that tight space where the whole fight takes place, plus those Abuses will lead to bany k bachay :S I just cant get past those dogs. If only i could take those dogs out first, fighting him aint a big deal. the only trouble is, there isnt enough space to roll evade those sons of Abuses will lead to banes :S

Run to the top dude. Kill the dogs using Firebombs

You guys wanna know what I hate most about this game? You die, you have to start the whole level over again. This game is hardly hard but starting from the previous bonfire which is probably 20 minutes wasted is freakin' annoying.

^^That's one of the best things about this game, whenever you step into a boss fight knowing that that monster can kill you in seconds and if that happens you lose alot of gameplay, well then that becomes for me at least an exhilarating experience even If I do die, and then once you win the feeling of achievement is unbeatable.

BTW I defeated the moonlight Butterfly, easy fight killed it on my first try, I also obtained Elite knight armor, I just ran through the stone Knights and grabbed it

But I can't figure out where I have to go now, can anyone help?

Go talk to the blacksmith and get the key to the sealed door you passed in the forest or take the divine ember to him (found after the butterfly boss) He'll ask for it, give it to him then forge a Divine weapon and head towards The Catacombs
