Having been working on the first black friday as advertising lead on behalf of Easy Paisa who fund these black friday discounts and also having been an ex employee of daraz. Last year it took even someone like me 3 months to get my money back from Daraz even with all my contacts. Although it was easy for me to file a case against them as my brother was a lawyer but lesson learned never hesitate in filling a case. You can find dime a dozen lawyers who for a few hundred ruppees outside sessions court's will write you a beautiful letter, if their english is bad feel free to write your english and let them match it with laws broken.

Sorry ! forget to update . Yesterday got a call from their representative regarding update of my order . So, they cancel my headphone which i ordered and about Ps4 pro as i already guessed Their vendor never had any item in stock . My Status was "ready to ship by market place" according to them my item was shipped by their vendor which turnout be a lie from them . They asked me to wait end of this week and they will 100% deliver my item . Yet i asked them to cancel my order . They asked me to wait till this week if they are unable to deliver my order so they will refund my payment.

My friend also ordered few item from them all got cancelled Now it seems pretty clear that they are scamming out big time .

Very huge investment is being injected. They can ban the seller, as they have a list of excuses to blame anyone. Since they rely on third party, they cannot be blamed :s

Someone above also mentioned how they make money through interest. Although, it could be possible, they can't make too much just on interest unless someone was investing in shares for a few days or a month and then returning the money back. Yes they deal with third parties however I think once they get the money, they THEN try to find the item in the cheapest price possible online and order it from there. That is why they take around 30 days and so. If they don't find one, they return back the money when the customer is frustrated to the core.

I really doubt on the investment model. But you never know. Honestly speaking they should return the amount the way they take initial payments. 5 to 6 days period of refunding should be good. Plus daraz should know this clearly as their intention is to touch the sky, getting an audience to handle such issues should be catered as per they should. But its sad to see they don't operate upto mark.
Kamyu was a failure, they are making daraz as like kamyu.

I dont know if leopards works this way but for companies like fedex etc that allow to you prepare shipment at home you can get a tracking number online to print a shipping label.
After that you have some days margin to actually ship the item.

Maybe leopards have something similar for commercial shippers.

I agree with you. As I said, the investment strategy would need to operate for a very few days which I doubt someone would be doing but what I am almost certain it looks like they are doing is just taking money first and finding cheap options from abroad. Some items, they are able to deliver on time as they would be easy to fetch on good discounts while other items, they wait for to make a certain 'margin'. And this strategy is VERY bad because this means unfortunately the Company either doesn't have enough funds and/or doesn't want to block it's funds into items until they receive an order and the 'full' money and it is also going to impact their goodwill/brand name. Unfortunately daraz.pk is a BIG BIG Company. It is owned by 'Rocket Internet' which is a German public listed company which started off as Rocket GmbH (Private Company). And their head office is in Harbour Front Karachi. My friends have worked there and even their CFO is a Canadian Chartered Accountant. So if a Company like that is using these small-minded policies which are not forward-looking, they will soon meet their fate like other online shops that are there for a year or so.

Sir, they got me and many of my relatives stuck in same drama for a good time period. Its their deliberate fraud.

Hire a lawyer, send them a legal notice.
