Right now the narrative from haters against DLSS 3 is "fake frames". When consoles eventually catch up, that too with inferior AMD equivalent, they'll all lose their minds over it. Different gen, same story.
Yup story of every console generation. :LOL: Cue shifting of goalposts in whenever the next console generation launches because they are gonna use similar technologies, as raster is dead. Guy keeps analyzing screenshots from lossy compressed youtube videos (maybe he doesn't know about compression used in YT videos?).

Also keeps posting videos from 5+ months ago. Lives under a hole probably as much more improved dlss dll versions have released since Dec/Jan. 🧐

Even replacing the dlss dll files in old games with new ones (files released around December/January) gives such a massive boost to image quality as well as improves frame generation tremendously.

They're salty about being stuck with AMD. Console versions only have RT Local Shadows, that too at 30fps.

Meanwhile, PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 currently has:

RT Diffuse GI
RTGI
RT Reflections
RT Local Shadows
RT Sun Shadows

Now it is getting a further future proof Overdrive path tracing update. One solution that handles all of the above while providing far superior quality in the most detailed and dense open world ever created. Its a huge deal and its meant for the top class GPUs (RTX 4000 series) if you want super high frame rates to go along with it. You won't see this advancement by being restricted to an AMD budget box.

@Danish_karachi Its a revolutionary new technology that is continuously being worked on. UI was indeed fixed in C2077.

Today’s new Cyberpunk 2077 update includes the following enhancements:

  • AI network enhancements for DLSS Frame Generation that better take advantage of game engine data, improving UI stability and image quality during fast movement.

This is just fucking wild. Path tracing in an unmatched dense open world with this level of micro and macro detail. This is going far beyond Metro Exodus EE.

Much like Metro Exodus EE, this makes the older RT outdated in comparison. Incredible stuff 😱

Thankfully, for much of the game - especially the exteriors - the RTX 4090 has enough brute force grunt to sustain 60 frames per second.
4K60 DLSS performance without Frame Generation.

Guru Ledbetter is thoroughly impressed.

It's the most ambitious RT implementation ever created, adding path tracing to one of the most visually impressive PC games currently on the market. We've never seen anything like it
