I also started playing a few days ago on my PC again. Previously I played a bit on my brothers laptop but stopped once I realized I can't play on a smaller screen. Anyways:
I also picked streetkid, and I gotta agree with
@venom here, the visuals specially indoors at night are a treat to the eyes. Haven't seen an open world game with this much packed in look this good. Phenomenal. However, one thing that really stood out for me is just how good the characters look up close and how natural they appear when ever you are having a conversation with them before the start of the mission. The eyes movement, gestures..they even interrupt you if you fail to answer in time removing that awkward silence between dialogues in RPG games. The skin shader is absolutely fantastic looking. This game is an all around package. Compare this to fallout 4 and man it looks and feels a hundred years ahead lol.
Driving is something I right now can't get used to, feels a bit too heavy and floaty as compared to say, GTA V. Not saying it's a fault of the game, it's just alot different than what I expected coming from GTA V. Although framerates drop ever so slightly when driving, which probably adds more to the driving floaty and sluggish feel
I'm not used to playing RPGs let alone a first person one so sometimes it can feel like a sensory overload for me. Too much stuff on screen at any time, to much dialogues, texts, mission updates, characters calling you, it's hard to be focused when game try to throws at you everything it can. Eh I'll get used to it.
The shooting feels good, although a bit too heavy on animations? (There are upgrades to reduce reloading and drawing time tho) shotguns feels satisfying, rifles feels good too. Overall much better than I expected, considering it's not an fps game.
The characters seems really fleshed out and interesting to have a conversation with, I instantly got attached to Jackie lol and got my heart broken
Boy ray tracing is heavy in this game, and is all out( lightning, shadows, reflections, sun shadows). Looks amazing tho. Thankfully DLSS saves the day here, or else getting 60fps would have been nigh impossible. Honestly, feel bad for the AMD users, I turned off DLSS and my fps instantly dropped to 50s~
No bugs seen till now, but I have only started the game
Fallout 4 looks like a bad joke compared to this game
Looking forward to play it more this night
